The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 181 calls from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8, including 10 vehicle collisions, eight animal problems, nine citizen assists, two fights, 17 livestock problems, eight suspicious incidents, a theft, a search-and-rescue, two fires, five traffic complaints, 39 urinalyses and 19 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 181 calls from Oct. 2 to Oct. 8, including 10 vehicle collisions, eight animal problems, nine citizen assists, two fights, 17 livestock problems, eight suspicious incidents, a theft, a search-and-rescue, two fires, five traffic complaints, 39 urinalyses and 19 vehicle identification number inspections.

Oct. 2

At 12:42 a.m., a man reported a mule deer doe was hit and killed in Hoback Canyon.

At 9:36 a.m., a rancher said they were moving cattle several miles on Highway 191 near Rim Station that afternoon.

At 12:23 p.m., three large dogs were running rampant.

At 3:28 p.m., a utility line went down in a storm, disrupting power.

At 3:28 p.m., wind blew debris against another house.

At 3:48 p.m., Tyvek and metal fencing blew into vehicles and down the street.

At 4:03 p.m., a woman reported a fence blew off and hit her car.

At 6:01 p.m., a deputy was asked to help with traffic control during a cattle drive to Paradise Road.

At 7:20 p.m., three people were on a back road stuck in Subaru with a dead battery.

At 7:58 p.m., EMTs noticed a very intoxicated couple walking home. They found a ride.

At 11:41 p.m., a man almost hit black cows in the highway near the Hoback Rim.

Oct. 3

At 5 a.m., a cow was on the highway with no nearby gate in the fence.

At 10:24 a.m., a school resource officer reported a juvenile incident.

At 11:01 a.m., another resource officer received the information.

At 12:34 p.m., cows were on the highway.

At 2:13 p.m., a brown and gold truck wasn’t maintaining its lane or speed.

At 4:50 p.m., a school resource officer received information.

At 6:07 p.m., a man asked if a friend could pick up his firearms so his estranged wife wouldn’t try to sell them.

At 6:44 p.m., a juvenile was being difficult about coming home.

At 7:37 p.m., a parent complained about lippy coaches at a Pinedale volleyball game.

At 8 p.m., an employee asked for help with an intoxicated elderly man; his wife came and took him home.

Oct. 4

At 1:11 a.m., a detective began investigating a suspicious incident.

At 7:05 a.m., a Ford F150 hit a deer.

At 7:49 a.m., a person had chest pains.

At 7:55 a.m., a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 191 was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At 7:57 a.m., a deputy picked up two prisoners in Farson.

At 9:21 a.m., a rancher was moving about 200 cow-calf pairs through Hoback Canyon.

At 10:10 a.m., a man preparing to leave for the winter said a kitten kept coming to his house.

At 11:47 a.m., a business’s burglar alarm went off; the call was canceled.

At 1:25 p.m., two juveniles bent their fenders.

At 3:11 p.m., dirt and dust were blowing out of a semi’s open trailer.

At 3:27 p.m., a deputy took a prisoner to Rock Springs.

At 5:13 p.m., a person had breathing problems.

At 6:24 a.m., a business’s burglar went off again and was canceled.

At 8:49 p.m., someone was doing donuts in the parking lot.

At 9:08 p.m., a driver hit a deer in Hoback Canyon.

Oct. 5

At 8:37 a.m., a local rancher died in a hay baler accident.

At 9:20 a.m., a detective asked for the drone’s use.

At 9:33 a.m., the Pinedale school resource officer responded to a juvenile incident.

At 10:27 a.m., the Big Piney school resource officer received information.

At 12:28 p.m., the Pinedale school resource officer looked into a juvenile situation.

At 1:18 p.m., a man reported a theft.

At 3:34 p.m., a man was threatened.

At 3:37 p.m., an ill elderly man was doing his laundry.

At 4:13 p.m., a deputy helped move a citizen’s car off the clinic’s helicopter landing pad.

At 6:06 p.m., a man was upset over a criminal trespass notice.

At 9:27 p.m., a man passed out in front of the Corral Bar got a ride home.

At 10:44 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in DUI and controlled substance possession charges.

Oct. 6

At 1:30 a.m., an arrested person brought drugs into the jail.

At 8:47 a.m., a stray cow was by the highway.

At 8:47 p.m., a man asked a deputy to listen to a voicemail from an Oklahoma investigator about a long ago ex-wife to see if it was a scam.

At 11:17 a.m., a translator was ready to help with a juvenile matter.

At 11:32 a.m., a logging truck tipped and rolled its load making a turn at the Daniel Junction.

At 11:49 a.m., the drone was deployed.

At 11:57 a.m., the SCSO had multiple 911 calls at 11:41 a.m., and a late SOS text came through.

At 2:53 p.m., a person wanted to speak with a deputy about a juvenile situation.

At 3:46 p.m., a man came to report an accident.

At 4:47 p.m., Loaf and Jug employees moved a rack and found a suspicious bottle taped to the floor. The suspect was trespassed.

At 7:10 p.m., two women fighting were separated for now at the Cowboy Bar. They left before a deputy arrived.

At 8:03 p.m., an unconscious man in a Jeep was awakened and arrested for DUI and having an open container of alcohol.

At 8:27 p.m., a neighbor threatened a man walking his dogs.

At 8:31 p.m., a 911 call skipped to Sweetwater County after a driver hit a cow.

At 8:32 p.m., a suspicious man was staring at a woman while she was smoking outside so the husband confronted him. It was a neighborly dispute.

At 10:36 p.m., two people tried to sneak back into the Silver Spur after being told to leave and kept driving around the bar.

At 11:54 p.m., about a half-dozen men were fighting in the Corral Bar. Two were arrested.

Oct. 7

At 3:11 a.m., Lincoln County dispatch said it needed help finding a suicidal juvenile’s parents.

At 3:22 a.m., an Oregon sheriff’s office asked SCSO to deliver an emergency death notification.

At 6:05 a.m., a woman heard screaming and maybe a gunshot before a vehicle drove way. Deputies drove around the area but saw and heard nothing.

At 8:46 a.m., a rancher reported two dead calves and a broken-down Dodge Ram truck.

At 11:08 a.m., a woman contacted a deputy about helping to lock out an evicted tenant. The deputy stood by while locks were changed.

At 12:51 p.m., cows were on the highway.

At 12:57 p.m., a buck antelope’s horns had a rope that was dragging 20 or 30 feet behind it. The call was transferred to Wyoming Game and Fish.

At 1:36 p.m., a weird gas smell sickened an employee; it was a faulty propane bottle.

At 2:01 p.m., Park County asked Tip Top Search and Rescue to bring the helicopter and a team to help with a search for a missing hunter. They helped find the hunter, safe.

At 2:37 p.m., a dozen cows were on the highway.

At 3:25 p.m., a deputy initiated an investigation.

At 4:06 p.m., an old hound dog was howling and lifting its front legs.

At 5:36 p.m., a man called about the roped buck antelope.

At 7:31 p.m., a high school driver raced through a 4-way stop sign and almost hit a child.

At 7:31 p.m., a vehicle collided with a cow. WHP took the call.

At 7:44 p.m., a person was having a seizure.

Oct. 8

At 9:28 a.m., a rancher was moving about 300 cattle down Highway 191 that afternoon.

At 1:48 p.m., a dead antelope was in the road.

At 6:35 p.m., a caller said an injured white dog was by the road. A deputy didn’t find it.

At 6:39 p.m., a black lab wouldn’t leave a woman’s house and was taken to the town pound.

At 8:10 p.m., a driver found a cow hit near Bondurant.

At 9:42 p.m., a woman turned herself in to the jail but there was no paperwork to book her. She was arrested for bond violation.

At 11:03 p.m., a lot of cows were bellowing and it didn’t sound normal.
