The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 178 calls from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, including 10 vehicle crashes, 21 citizen assists, one search-and-rescue, four animal problems, seven livestock problems, three REDDI reports, nine suspicious incidents, 12 traffic complaints, 33 urinalyses and 21 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 178 calls from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, including 10 vehicle crashes, 21 citizen assists, one search-and-rescue, four animal problems, seven livestock problems, three REDDI reports, nine suspicious incidents, 12 traffic complaints, 33 urinalyses and 21 vehicle identification number inspections.

Oct. 16

At 5:32 a.m., a vehicle hit a deer.

At 9:28 a.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 11:56 a.m., a man said a moose by Boyd Skinner Park appeared to be dead; it was sleeping.

At 12:04 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 1:54 p.m., Pinedale staff picked up signs for a lane closure on Pine Street.

At 2:44 p.m., a semi dumped gravel onto the highway north of Cliff Creek.

At 8:17 p.m., a woman asked if her husband was served a protection order.

Oct. 17

At 6:55 a.m., a Ford truck hauling side-by-sides hit two deer.

At 8:38 a.m., a man said a car came over to his lane and ran him off Highway 189; he drove off the road, hit a culvert and blew out a front tire.

At 9:09 a.m., a caller reported trespassing.

At 9:42 a.m., the Big Piney school resource officer investigated a juvenile problem.

At 9:52 a.m., a deputy helped a family with juvenile issues.

At 9:59 a.m., an employee said a homeless man set up a shelter in a shed behind a business.

At 10:14 a.m., 10 cows were wandering onto the highway.

At 10:33 a.m., a citizen was trenching South Piney Road; Road & Bridge was going to fix it. The county attorney received a case report.

At 10:49 a.m., a person had a seizure or heart attack.

At 10:51 a.m., a deputy investigated a juvenile problem.

At 11:31 a.m., a woman said semis had a hard time making a 90-degree turn on the Pine Street detour.

At 11:33 a.m., a person was having a stroke.

At 1:30 p.m., a woman’s ex was driving around her house, making rude gestures and sending texts.

At 1:57 p.m., an anonymous caller advised when papers could be served to someone.

At 1:59 p.m., the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in Montana said they picked up a Sublette County citizen who didn’t know where she was.

At 3:08 p.m., a rancher made plans for traffic control during a cattle move in Daniel.

At 4:08 p.m., a bull pushed open a gate on Highway 191.

At 4:25 p.m., a large piece of metal on the highway was a traffic hazard.

At 7:26 p.m., two hunters were lost and sent an Inreach SOS; they self-rescued.

At 7:47 p.m., a red Dodge Ram had its bumper laying beside it; the person who hit it left a message.

At 8:17 p.m., a Chevy Cruz drifted off the road and slid through a fence; no one was injured.

Oct. 18

At 3:03 a.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 10:43 a.m., a man called to see if he had court that day or the next.

At 12:03 p.m., 40 to 45 cows were on a woman’s property.

At 12:05 p.m., a black Ford F150 raced from Lakeside Lodge to the CCC Ponds parking lot and back.

At 12:40 p.m., a white semi flatbed with a yellow load couldn’t maintain its lane.

At 1:18 p.m., a woman with a protective order said her husband kept texting and calling.

At 1:37 p.m., a man asked if the SCSO could hold a handgun for a friend. He was advised about keeping it safely.

At 2:26 p.m., a woman had a bloody nose after rear-ending her mother’s vehicle.

At 5:44 p.m., a husband was violating a protection order.

At 5:59 p.m., a man was arrested while a deputy served a phone search warrant.

At 6 p.m., a mother wanted to talk to a deputy about her son’s arrest.

At 6:49 p.m., a citizen just served a protection order wanted to talk to an officer.

At 6:57 p.m., someone hit and injured four antelope in the road.

At 7:05 p.m., a woman caught a very small animal.

At 8:46 p.m., a laundromat employee found an iPhone; it was returned to the owner.

At 10:26 p.m., a man wanted to talk to a deputy about an awkward incident at the Spur Bar.

Oct. 19

At 5:23 a.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

At 9:43 a.m., a silver Ford Explorer was headed south at 100-plus miles per hour.

At 9:53 a.m., a man asked about options to get rid of a propane tank from a former supplier.

At 12:04 p.m., a dark-colored SUV going about 100 mph passed multiple vehicles at once.

At 12:44 p.m., a citizen reported a lost or missing firearm.

At 2:25 p.m., a deputy checked on a family issue.

At 4:40 p.m., a person’s heartbeat was rapid.

At 5:15 p.m., Pinedale Aquatic Center staff couldn’t get kids out with a moose cow and calf at the front doors.

At 5:40 p.m., a basement stairs’ fire alarm was accidentally set off by dust during construction.

At 8:21 p.m., a suspicious car pulled up, stopped and shut lights off and left going very slowly.

At 9:20 p.m., a deputy received information about a juvenile issue.

At 10:05 p.m., a black Dodge truck was bouncing between the lines.

Oct. 20

At 5:56 a.m., a white Ford truck passed two school buses on a double yellow line.

At 8:14 a.m., a Broadwater County, Montana, deputy called asking if a Sublette County woman in their jail had any family or medical issues.

At 8:26 a.m., deputies prepared for a funeral escort from the Big Piney fairgrounds.

At 9:08 a.m., a deputy was dealing with large boxes in the road.

At 10:44 a.m., a deputy helped with a juvenile matter.

At 11:08 a.m., the Pinedale school resource officer reported on a juvenile issue.

At 11:35 a.m., a man asked a deputy to look into a possible scam.

At 11:45 a.m., an aggressive pitbull was making residents nervous and the Pinedale animal control officer was not on duty.

At 12:26 p.m., a woman reported a Medicare scam call.

At 2:28 p.m., a juvenile driver committed a traffic offense.

At 3:26 p.m., a single vehicle rolled near Duck Creek. The call was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At 4:08 p.m., a citizen’s call started an active investigation.

At 4:34 p.m., a man said someone pushed him down at his house.

At 5:53 p.m., a small blue vehicle speeded through town; the driver was cited for speeding and following too closely.

At 8:01 p.m., a large work truck going 43 mph in a 70-mph zone was all over the road. The driver was not impaired but cited for lane use.

At 10:06 p.m., a woman’s phone notified her of an Airtag alert but she didn’t have Airtag and was suspicious.

At 10:13 p.m., a Ford F350 with a livestock trailer hit a deer.

At 11:21 p.m., a barking dog was tied in a yard. The owner took it inside.

At 11:50 p.m., a red Ford truck was all over the road. A deputy didn’t find it.

Oct. 21

At 2:21 a.m., a person might be having a heart attack.

At 7:46 a.m., a man wanted to talk about neighbor issues.

At 9:45 a.m., a driver hit a fence by Pole Creek Road.

At 11:19 a.m., a kid who fell on ice was acting a little confused.

At 12:58 p.m., a silver sedan passed a truck and almost caused a head-on collision.

At 1:34 p.m., a man wanted a deputy on hand when he paid a moving company.

At 2:18 p.m., a man trying to get into the clinic called 911; someone let him in.

At 3:19 p.m., evicted tenants were not supposed to be onsite and were tearing things down on the property.

At 6:28 p.m., Fremont County asked a SCSO deputy to deliver a death notification.

At 8:07 p.m., a man asked if he could give a soda to a woman having trouble breathing; the woman said she was fine.

At 8:19 p.m., very loud noises were coming from the Lovatt Room; it was a library program.

At 8:24 p.m., a red calf without a brand was hit on County Road 110.

At 9:06 p.m., young people were driving around, revving and spinning donuts.

At 11:26 p.m., two callers complained about a loud party at the Pinedale Library.

Oct. 22

At 6:40 a.m., a deputy checked on a tractor-trailer driver.

At 11:14 a.m., a deputy investigated an animal problem.

At 1:16 p.m., an excavator hit a gas line.

At 1:47 p.m., a person having a seizure fell and hit their head.

At 2:24 p.m., a 911 text came in from someone on a Forest Service road. The missing hunter was found while on the phone with dispatch.

At 4:42 p.m., a woman driving a black Jeep was swerving all over the road.

At 4:54 p.m., two stray dogs had shock collars but no tags.

At 5:04 p.m., a black or dark blue GMC truck was swerving and driving with flashers on.

At 7:45 p.m., a family fight was reported.

At 11:26 p.m., a person carrying a glass tripped and fell on broken glass, cutting their head and cheek.
