The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 130 calls from Nov. 13 to Nov. 19, including 11 vehicles crashes, a suicidal person, 18 citizen assists, an overdose, four suspicious incidents, a structure fire, threatening, two vandalisms, 25 urinalyses and 22 vehicle identification number inspections.

Sheriff's report Nov. 13 to Nov. 19, 2023

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 130 calls from Nov. 13 to Nov. 19, including 11 vehicles crashes, a suicidal person, 18 citizen assists, an overdose, four suspicious incidents, a structure fire, threatening, two vandalisms, 25 urinalyses and 22 vehicle identification number inspections.

Nov. 13

At 5:54 a.m., a man hit and killed a deer on a bridge with his Ford F350.

At 12:56 p.m., a possible fraud was averted when a customer paid after a check bounced.

At 1:42 p.m., a Pinedale man shipped his car to Florida, where he reported it was stolen. He was advised to fax proof of his ownership to the sheriff’s office there so it could be released to a friend.

At 2:24 p.m., a detective requested an instant background check.

At 3:26 p.m., a new work truck delivered to the jobsite had drug paraphernalia and pot in it that a deputy picked up and disposed.

At 3:40 p.m., a woman said her ex refused to return a gun bought and registered in her name.

At 3:44 p.m., a building fire was reported; the house was smoky due to a wood fire.

At 3:58 p.m., a person who blacked out earlier was now violently ill.

At 4:05 p.m., a fire alarm was accidental.

At 5:20 p.m., after the medical clinic’s fire alarm went off, Sublette County Unified Fire shut off a dry system and advised deputies to patrol every 30 minutes.

At 7:05 p.m., a white utility truck was in a crash.

At 8:36 p.m., a semi with a box trailer was passing at 90 mph in a no-passing zone.

At 8:48 p.m., a person requested a restraining order.

Nov. 14

At 6:52 a.m., a dead deer was in Highway 191 near Bondurant.

At 7:02 a.m., a deputy arrested a woman with a warrant.

At 9:40 a.m., a man asked to talk to the school resource officer.

At 10:06 a.m., no one at Sublette BOCES responded to two “safe” testing attempts or a phone call. A deputy went to find everything okay.

At 10:44 a.m., a woman wanted to report a possible fraud.

At 10:45 a.m., a woman was remanded into custody.

At 2:11 p.m., a man was trying to find out what happened to his dog when he was taken to the clinic.

At 4:24 p.m., deputies were asked for extra patrol to make sure someone didn’t try to trespass again.

At 4:42 p.m., someone sideswiped a truck while the owner was shopping.

At 4:55 p.m., a juvenile crashed a dirt bike.

At 5:01 p.m., a detective reported threats.

At 5:37 p.m., a Ford Bronco hit and injured a deer.

At 6:24 p.m., teenagers drove over Flicks N Pins’ lawn and broke glass in the parking lot.

At 8:45 p.m., a store employee was nervous about a suspicious vehicle parked at a gas pump, after someone pumped gas, left and returned to watch her.

Nov. 15

At 7:32 a.m., a man from Utah asked questions about a no trespass order against him in Sublette County.

At 8:21 a.m., the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported someone had fallen the night before and wasn’t feeling well.

At 9:05 a.m., a woman hunter going to Australia for the winter asked how to clear firearms for overseas travel.

At 9:44 a.m., cows were going through an open gate toward Highway 191 near Hoback Canyon.

At 11:22 a.m., Pinedale staff reported “Jinx” graffiti on Harmony Bridge.

At 12:30 p.m., three former employees were “trespassed” from their workplace.

At 1:31 p.m., a man reported his front and back license plates stolen.

At 4:39 p.m., a white Honda was speeding and swerving; the driver was stopped and cited.

At 5:24 p.m., a black Acura hit a deer on Highway 351.

At 5:37 p.m., a red Ford F150 hit and killed a deer.

At 5:42 p.m., a deputy checking on a deer-vehicle crash was told of another crash at the same spot.

At 5:52 p.m., teens were leaving trash and beer at Flicks N Pins and driving on the lawn.

At 6:46 p.m., a woman talked with a deputy about a suspicious black Toyota 4Runner stalking her employees; the officer suggested they start working in pairs.

At 9:08 p.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

At 11:09 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.

Nov. 16

At 7:50 a.m., a yellow semi almost ran a vehicle off the road on Pine Street.

At 8:12 a.m., the Pinedale school resource officer was notified of a juvenile problem.

At 8:36 a.m., a man moving into an apartment found narcotics from 2022.

At 10:13 a.m., a woman reported a stray cat at the end of the pavement on Pole Creek Road.

At 10:24 a.m., the Big Piney school resource officer reported to the elementary school.

At 11:17 a.m., a woman reported identity theft.

At 11:38 a.m., a prisoner was transported.

At 12:41 p.m., a propane truck driver said a maroon semi hauling a track-hoe pulled out in front of him.

At 2:14 p.m., an injured deer was still alive by the highway.

At 2:22 p.m., a school resource officer learned of a suicidal person.

At 2:56 p.m., a driver was worried about a man walking on Highway 191 all day. The man doesn’t have a driver’s license so he was walking to and from work.

At 5:48 p.m., a woman’s phone was dialing random numbers.

At 6:04 p.m., a panic alarm was accidentally triggered.

At 6:45 p.m., a person was unconscious.

At 11:41 p.m., a drug detective requested a search warrant.

Nov. 17

At 8:08 a.m., a person wasn’t well.

At 8:19 a.m., a fire alarm went off at the Pinedale schools; it was a fire drill and no one had told the dispatcher.

At 8:33 a.m., a propane delivery truck needed access to fill a tank.

At 9:24 a.m., two stray dogs were spotted.

At 9:47 a.m., a former business manager would not return bookkeeping.

At 1:26 p.m., a blue Mazda backed into a truck.

At 1:31 p.m., a missing 3-year-old last seen wearing an orange hoodie and spotted PJs was found shortly after calling it in.

At 3:10 p.m., a juvenile drove a vehicle past a stopped Pinedale school bus; a parent was asked to talk to the juvenile.

At 3:39 p.m., an officer reported for parade duty.

At 4:09 p.m., a person with asthma couldn’t breathe.

At 4:21 p.m., a female overdosed on medication.

At 4:54 p.m., a stray German shepherd-lab dog was by Meadowlark Lane.

At 6:07 p.m., a semi kept swerving across Highway 191.

At 6:07 p.m., two black cows were near the road.

At 6:12 p.m., a Dodge Ram 3500 hit a deer.

At 7:49 p.m., a white Subaru without taillights was speeding.

At 10:06 p.m., a carbon monoxide alarm was beeping.

At 11:17 p.m., Sublette EMS found a truck in the ditch while returning from a medical call. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Nov. 18

At 1:07 a.m., Sublette EMS made a blood draw.

At 6:39 a.m., a customer ran out of propane and needed an emergency contact number.

At 2:10 p.m., a deputy reported vandalism.

At 3:19 p.m., a person had difficulty breathing.

At 5:05 p.m., a person stepped off a curb and hit their head.

At 6:15 p.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

At 9:47 p.m., a woman in labor was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

At 11:03 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.

Nov. 19

At 10:44 a.m., an officer investigated information.

At 6:34 p.m., a Nissan Tundra hit and injured a deer.
