The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 207 calls from June 5 to June 11, including 11 crashes, a death, 19 citizen assists, a missing person, one structure fire, five welfare checks, 12 livestock problems, a structure collapse, three thefts, a search and rescue, vandalism, 23 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections.

Sheriff's report June 5 to June 11

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 207 calls from June 5 to June 11, including 11 crashes, a death, 19 citizen assists, a missing person, one structure fire, five welfare checks, 12 livestock problems, a structure collapse, three thefts, a search and rescue, vandalism, 23 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections.

June 5

At 7:30 a.m., a calf was all alone. Many ranchers moved and turned their cattle out for summer grazing this past week, leading to cows and calves trying to find each other all over the county.

At 8:39 a.m., a woman picked up two stray border collies.

At 8:58 a.m., a woman reported her passport was stolen.

At 9:27 a.m., a prisoner was transported.

At 10:45 a.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 12:38 p.m., a man said his ex-wife might have fraudulently used his Social Security number.

At 1:47 p.m., a wrecked vehicle was abandoned.

At 2:33 p.m., a drug detective checked a prescription dropbox.

At 3:32 p.m., a detective assisted the Forest Service.

At 3:35 p.m., a drug detective checked another prescription dropbox.

At 4:59 p.m., a parent asked a deputy to help with children’s custody exchange.

At 6:08 p.m., a juvenile driver kept speeding down the road.

At 6:12 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 6:23 p.m., three sheep trespassed on private property.

At 7:39 p.m., a property owner said a deputy misread the law and sheep need to be fenced in.

At 8:56 p.m., a man fell and hit his head.

June 6

At 7:36 a.m., a Ford Edge that injured a deer was toast.

At 8:13 a.m., a calf was by the road.

At 8:59 a.m., a man’s cell phone accidentally dialed 911.

At 9:40 a.m., a suspicious 911 call’s open line ended abruptly.

At 10:42 a.m., a stray dog was running on the highway.

At 12:32 p.m., a deputy gave firearms training.

At 2:40 p.m., a woman hit the back of another vehicle in a 45-mph construction zone.

At 4:27 p.m., Border Patrol told a man returning from Mexico his vehicle was stolen. The state ran his plate with the incorrect county number.

At 6:16 p.m., a silver pickup went through the campground at 50-plus mph.

At 8:27 p.m., a man asked about carrying firearms openly.

At 9:28 p.m., a calf was running toward Pinedale.

At 9:32 p.m., a moose calf crossed the highway in Daniel.

At 9:57 p.m., a family dispute was reported.

June 7

At 3:14 a.m., a person with diabetes was bleeding.

At 8:45 a.m., a controlled burn was reported.

At 10:25 a.m., people were driving too fast on South Bench Road where kids play.

At 10:33 a.m., Department of Family Services asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 10:53 a.m., three large black dogs were running loose.

At 11:11 a.m., a prisoner was taken to Bondurant.

At 11:12 a.m., a woman was worried about a Willow Lake campsite where water was rising to kids toys and tents. No one had been at the site for two weeks.

At 11:47 a.m., someone vandalized Pinedale property with graffiti.

At 1:22 p.m., firearms training took place at the Daniel gun range.

At 1:29 p.m., a juvenile driver hit a vehicle and left.

At 1:37 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 1:44 p.m., a white Subaru almost sideswiped another vehicle.

At 3:01 p.m., a woman called about a juvenile situation.

At 5:36 p.m., a deputy made a probation check.

At 6:02 p.m., a deputy made another probation check.

At 6:41 p.m., a man had questions about an ex-wife and a visiting daughter.

At 6:47 p.m., a deputy checked on White Pine’s power failure.

At 11:17 p.m., a woman saw a silver SUV hit an elk.

June 8

At 10:13 a.m., a man had two flat tires.

At 11:11 a.m., a “suspicious” 911 open line relayed no distress.

At 11:48 a.m., a caller only wanted to talk to the sheriff.

At 12 p.m., a girl’s phone for emergencies only accidentally called 911.

At 2:09 p.m., a call about juvenile and alcohol was unfounded.

At 4:39 p.m., a caller saw on Instagram that juveniles planned to party at the lake. It might have been rained out.

At 4:53 p.m., a woman reported a theft.

June 9

At 1:56 a.m., Teton County dispatch reported a missing juvenile, who was found.

At 4:54 a.m., a Kentucky man said he bought something over Facebook from a person in Boulder who wouldn’t call back.

At 6:05 a.m., a white Mustang or Camaro nose-dived into a ditch.

At 7:47 a.m., a crow flew into a house and tried to attack a woman. She trapped it in a bedroom and it eventually flew out an open window.

At 8:09 a.m., three red calves were near the highway.

At 8:54 a.m., several black cows were going over a fence between Hoback Rim and Warren Bridge.

At 10:46 a.m., a woman wondered about a man sitting by the highway with two saddles.

At 11:33 a.m., an oven caught on fire and it was put out.

At 12:47 p.m., a communications radio tower was hit by lightning; the sheriff requested maintenance respond.

At 1:01 p.m., a family friend was trying to help after a woman passed away.

At 1:22 p.m., a climber possibly broke an ankle during a rockslide on a small trail.

At 1:53 p.m., DFS asked for a deputy’s assistance.

At 2:24 p.m., a broken-down van was blocking Pine Street traffic.

At 5:31 p.m., a trailer hit a power box.

At 7:27 p.m., a visitor took pictures of antlers at Midway Mall and noticed an open door.

At 7:49 p.m., a woman recorded a black semi that was tailgating and swerving and the driver who made a rude gesture as he passed.

At 7:55 p.m., a four-wheeler wrecked on a two-track road.

At 8:36 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 9:36 p.m., people parked in front of a woman’s garage.

At 11:02 p.m., a traffic stop turned into a controlled substance problem.

June 10

At 1:16 a.m., a person had severe abdominal pains.

At 1:26 a.m., a deputy was asked to check on someone’s welfare.

At 7:01 a.m., someone hit a vehicle and took off the night before.

At 8:52 a.m., a concerned woman said a juvenile was shooting something from a toy gun at another juvenile. It was a toy gun shooting plastic BBs.

At 9:23 a.m., a woman had information for an investigation.

At 9:33 a.m., a large brown dog was running around town.

At 12:48 p.m., a blue heeler was playing in the gravel pit.

At 2:16 p.m., a man asked how long his protection order was effective.

At 2:33 p.m., a person was unconscious.

At 3:35 p.m., a coworker had a seizure.

At 3:55 p.m., a juvenile told a senior citizen to stop reporting them for riding on the senior center’s sidewalks.

At 4:14 p.m., a woman’s brand new to her VW Beetle was hit by a trailer behind a GMC Sierra.

At 5:10 p.m., a motorcyclist went over the edge of the highway and was taken to a hospital. Wyoming Highway Patrol arrested him for DUI.

At 5:19 p.m., a grandfather said a red van followed an 8-year-old and friends around all afternoon.

At 6:31 p.m., a family fight was reported.

At 8:08 p.m., a death was reported.

At 8:26 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 9:25 p.m., a person slipped and needed help getting up.

June 11

At 1:38 a.m., a traffic stop turned into a DUI arrest.

At 5:41 a.m., a person might be having a heart attack.

At 6:42 a.m., a driver who rolled a truck was life-flighted and cited for numerous traffic infractions.

At 7:07 a.m., livestock were crossing the highway.

At 8:20 a.m., a person had breathing problems.

At 9:15 a.m., a suspicious man without a shirt was walking around the park; deputies didn’t find him.

At 9:58 a.m., a black cow was on the highway.

At 10:33 a.m., a woman picked up two stray dogs near Daniel.

At 12:31 p.m., a truck and camper parked in front of a house and garage so the residents couldn’t drive in or out.

At 1:32 p.m., a woman locked herself out of her house.

At 2:26 p.m., a juvenile problem was reported.

At 3:27 p.m., a tall man was hitchhiking.

At 3:59 p.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

At 4:17 p.m., a deputy helped a WHP trooper with a traffic stop.

At 5:05 p.m., a woman asked about a protection order.

At 6:19 p.m., a woman asked someone to pay her $300 to not post “inappropriate photos” that weren’t of him to Instagram.

At 6:39 p.m., three cows on the highway might be left from the Little Jennie Ranch’s cattle drive.

At 7:02 p.m., a juvenile problem was reported.
