The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 236 calls from July 10 to July 16, including a missing person, a death, a sex offense, eight 911 hangups, 19 suspicious circumstances, an animal attack, six medical emergencies, a fire, 24 citizen assists, a vehicle fire, 33 urinalyses and 51 vehicle identification number inspections.

Sheriff's Report July 10 to July 16

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 236 calls from July 10 to July 16, including a missing person, a death, a sex offense, eight 911 hangups, 19 suspicious circumstances, an animal attack, six medical emergencies, a fire, 24 citizen assists, a vehicle fire, 33 urinalyses and 51 vehicle identification number inspections.

July 10

At 8:17 a.m., a detective ran an instant identification check to release a firearm.

At 9:42 a.m., a Department of Family Services employee asked to speak to a deputy.

At 11 a.m., a driver backed into a friend’s car.

At 1:07 p.m., a UPS driver was going too fast with kids on the street.

At 2:14 p.m., a panic alarm was accidentally set off.

At 2:16 p.m., a tractor caught on fire while the owner was driving it; it was a total loss.

At 3:23 p.m., a woman reported criminal trespassing.

At 3:52 p.m., a man reported an earlier accident.

At 4:50 p.m., a black Ford Raptor drove off a detour and into a ditch.

At 4:58 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 4:58 p.m., apartment cleaners reported signs of meth use to DFS.

At 5:23 p.m., a truck splashed concrete on a Sublette EMS truck.

At 6:32 p.m., a neighbor kidnapped a dog and chained it to his house. The man said a deputy explained this is a fence-out state but that applies to livestock, not domestic pets.

At 7:10 p.m., underage kids were drinking at a boat dock. The minors were cited for minors in possession of alcohol.

At 7:47 p.m., DFS asked for the school resource officer.

At 8:13 p.m., Lincoln County reported a suicide attempt; the person had cut themselves.

At 11:39 p.m., juveniles were involved in a suspicious incident.

July 11

At 6:28 a.m., neighbors had already started noisy construction work.

At 6:56 a.m., a subdivision resident complained about barking dogs and construction noise.

At 8:55 a.m., a caller was concerned about activity in Sylvan Bay.

At 11:33 a.m., a deputy picked up an inmate in Bondurant.

At 12:22 p.m., a man was arrested on two Wyoming warrants.

At 12:34 p.m., a white patrol vehicle passed on a double yellow line in Hoback Canyon; the information was passed on to the Teton County Sheriff’s Office.

At 1 p.m., a black truck with four men passed unsafely, almost causing a head-on collision. The call was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At 1:35 p.m., an investigator looked into a fraud.

At 2:57 p.m., Sublette EMS was flagged down for an allergic reaction to coffee.

At 4:14 p.m., a hiker asked where to leave a vehicle for several weeks.

At 6:18 p.m., a man with warrants turned himself in.

At 6:49 p.m., a red semi with a white trailer was swerving all over the road.

At 7:31 p.m., a gray Chrysler van speeded through town.

At 10:17 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

July 12

At 4:51 a.m., a suspicious truck was backed up on Ridley’s sidewalk; it belonged to the cleaning crew.

At 9:25 a.m., a boy was slightly injured on a crosswalk when he was hit by a car; the driver was cited for failure to yield. All other cars had stopped.

At 11:32 a.m., a truck and trailer rolled on Highway 191; the call was transferred to WHP.

At 2:56 p.m., a very paranoid driver was acting suspiciously; he was taken to St. John’s Medical Center with an overdose.

At 3:37 p.m., Fremont County requested Tip Top Search and Rescue’s medivac for a NOLS student.

At 3:57 p.m., Sublette EMS did a blood draw.

At 5:08 p.m., a woman who booked an AirBnB was told the address was only a shop; it was a scam.

At 6:02 p.m., a caller said three trucks with nonEnglish-speaking drivers were idling all day.

At 6:09 a.m., a woman said someone unplugged her water pump at 4:30 a.m. and she was nervous because it meant someone came onto her property.

At 6:54 p.m., a very confused woman was walking around.

At 6:55 p.m., a woman’s grandsons disappeared while she was in a meeting; their mother had picked them up and forgot to tell her.

At 7:38 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 9:04 p.m., a town sprinkler on Pine Street was broken.

At 10:03 p.m., a possibly drunk driver just drove into oncoming traffic.

July 13

At 4:04 a.m., a shed behind a Bondurant bar caught on fire; a deputy assisted Sublette County Unified Fire.

At 8:46 a.m., a caller smelled natural gas; SCUF and Pinedale Natural Gas responded.

At 11:09 a.m., a patient at St. John’s Medical Center reported a sexual assault.

At 2:39 p.m., a woman was worried about volleyball players’ vehicles.

At 2:40 p.m., a vendor received an unsigned check and wanted to contact the person.

At 4:14 p.m., a mother and daughter received harassing texts and phone calls.

At 4:35 p.m., a woman had neighbor issues.

At 5:09 p.m., a black van was parked for a month in an odd spot; a deputy contacted the owner who moved it.

At 5:19 p.m., animal control picked up a stray poodle.

At 5:31 p.m., people were trespassing on a ranch while fishing.

At 6:20 p.m., the coroner began investigating the death of a 77-year-old man.

At 6:26 p.m., a SAFV employee was concerned about a client.

At 6:59 p.m., an orange sports car was passing drivers on the right and double yellow lines.

At 7:19 p.m., a woman thought she heard a gunshot nearby.

At 7:43 p.m., a man asked if he could get his roommate’s girlfriend to move out.

At 8:48 p.m., a deputy investigated a woman being followed.

July 14

At 8:18 a.m., a woman picked up a stray dog and needed someone to pick it up.

At 9:44 a.m., a man who fixed his trailer lights wanted a deputy to sign off.

At 11:55 a.m., a SAFV employee asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.

At 1:13 p.m., a tailgating semi passed three cars on a curve and almost hit someone head on.

At 2:06 p.m., a detective filed information.

At 2:26 p.m., an RV went through town at 60 mph.

At 3:01 p.m., a woman lost her keys on a walk.

At 5:08 p.m., an SOS beacon went off; the driver needed a battery jump.

At 5:33 p.m., a diabetic person had shortness of breath.

At 5:46 p.m., a dark gray Toyota was all over the road.

At 5:51 p.m., a woman tried to get her dog back from the pound.

At 6:37 p.m., a person tried to call WHP.

At 7:07 p.m., a caller reported smoke near Deadline Ridge, possibly a controlled burn.

At 9:09 p.m., a verbal domestic dispute turned physical.

At 10:13 p.m., a small vehicle ran off the road.

At 11:03 p.m., a drunken man followed another home. A deputy gave the intoxicated man a ride to his home.

July 15

At 1:32 a.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 4:15 a.m., a man called about his roommate.

At 5:11 a.m., a suspicious 911 call came in on an open line.

At 8:39 a.m., a neighbor’s dog ran horses through a fence before and a colt had to be killed; this time one horse was killed, one was okay and two were in bad shape.

At 9:08 a.m., a business owner had disturbing, aggressive customers who were very angry. They were served with a trespass notice.

At 11:04 a.m., a man was keeping a stray spaniel so deputies wouldn’t shoot it.

At 12:47 p.m., three dogs were at the beach getting into a person’s food.

At 3:03 p.m., a parent missed a custody exchange.

At 4:03 p.m., a very young baby hawk was on Paradise Road.

At 5:34 p.m., an inmate was taken to the clinic.

At 5:45 p.m., a caller was worried about two dogs tied up without shade.

At 6:25 p.m., a person couldn’t reach anyone at SAFV.

At 7:29 p.m., a suspicious silver car was parked at a New Fork River fishing access all week.

At 8:12 p.m., a person with Stage 4 cancer had a medical emergency.

At 8:25 p.m., a person who ran out of gas asked for help getting 10 miles to a camp.

At 8:54 p.m., a neighbor’s dogs were charging at residents.

At 9:54 p.m., a LaBarge man reported seeing flashlights in a vacant house; the call was transferred to Lincoln County.

At 10:55 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

July 16

At 7:41 a.m., a suspicious 911 call with an open line came in from Sunny Korfanta Field.

At 11:19 a.m., a man said a town water line still wasn’t fixed and was leaking under a wooden building.

At 11:20 a.m., a woman had a deputy check placement of two security cameras.

At 2:25 p.m., a couple picked up a dog running across Pine Street.

At 5:35 p.m., two men were harassing a woman.

At 6:25 p.m., a kids’ camp reported two missing employees and a juvenile; one had altitude sickness.

At 10:18 p.m., a hospital employee reported treating a patient bitten by a son’s dog.

At 10:32 p.m., a horse walked north on Highway 191 south of Pinedale.
