The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 187 calls and incidents from Aug. 7 to Aug. 13, including a theft, two domestic fights, two fires, a suicidal person, child abuse, three search and rescues, six welfare checks, 16 citizen assists, 19 suspicious circumstances or accidental 911 calls, seven traffic complaints, five scams, 28 urinalyses and 31 vehicle identification number inspections.

Sheriff's report Aug. 7 to Aug. 13

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 187 calls and incidents from Aug. 7 to Aug. 13, including a theft, two domestic fights, two fires, a suicidal person, child abuse, three search and rescues, six welfare checks, 16 citizen assists, 19 suspicious circumstances or accidental 911 calls, seven traffic complaints, five scams, 28 urinalyses and 31 vehicle identification number inspections.

Aug. 7

At 6 a.m., a woman’s phone accidentally called 911.

At 7:18 a.m., a person had bad stomach pains.

At 11:02 a.m., a BLM supervisor checked on use of a portable breath tester when a deputy investigated a BLM employee’s vehicle rollover.

At 11:08 a.m., a U.S. Census Bureau employee was threatened at gunpoint and told to leave.

At 11:27 a.m., a suspicious but accidental 911 call came from someone driving.

At 1:14 p.m., a brown semi with a red trailer was all over the road.

At 1:31 p.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 2:32 p.m., a man called about an ongoing issue with a neighbor’s multiple dogs on his property.

At 2:32 p.m., a fire alarm went off accidentally.

At 8:59 p.m., a rally car was revving and speeding up and down the road.

At 10:43 p.m., a woman said a deputy left a flashlight at her home.

Aug. 8

At 3:30 a.m., Tip Top Search and Rescue picked up a student with abdominal pains and flew them to the clinic.

At 9:29 a.m., Tip Top reported an SOS alert and picked up a person and took them to the clinic.

At 9:50 a.m., a man talked to a deputy about filing charges.

At 10:21 a.m., a black cow and calf were headed south.

At 11:01 a.m., a person was disorderly in the CRT room.

At 11:02 a.m., a security officer reported disorderly conduct in the courtroom.

At 11:11 a.m., a woman called about getting her pit bull back.

At 11:46 a.m., a deputy reported for firearms training.

At 12:22 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.

At 1:08 p.m., a person possibly had a blood clot.

At 1:09 p.m., a woman reported an adult screaming at a child in a white van. The adult was cited for having an open container of alcohol but wasn’t intoxicated.

At 5:27 p.m., a person blood sugar had dropped.

At 5:39 p.m., deputies didn’t find a white truck swerving along Highway 351.

At 7:53 p.m., a juvenile was cited for driving on a restricted license.

At 8:10 p.m., a man was taking the front plate off his van and parking with used vehicles in a car lot. A deputy said he was a backpacker waiting for better weather.

At 9:49 p.m., a door was open at Big Piney Elementary School; kids had basketball practice.

At 10:56 p.m., a woman reported a possible scam.

Aug. 9

At 12:05 a.m., a 911 call came from a number that doesn’t exist.

At 9:27 a.m., a deputy investigated suspected child abuse.

At 11:21 a.m., a jail officer transported a prisoner.

At 12:33 p.m., a deputy reported for firearms training.

At 12:50 p.m., a caller asked someone to inspect septic-gas building up inside a home.

At 1:10 p.m., a caller complained about a white SUV and a white semi going through Pinedale.

At 1:12 p.m., a man said his wife was talking to a fraudulent Publishers Clearing House caller.

At 1:45 p.m., a man said a scam report popped up and froze his computer.

At 2:43 p.m., a man was trying to find his sister.

At 3:38 p.m., a parent reported texts from a potential predator.

At 7:16 p.m., a woman who threatened to kill herself was taken into Title 25 custody.

At 7:34 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 9:11 p.m., a neighbor was worried loose horses would be hit on the Highway.

At 9:20 p.m., a front door alarm went off when newspapers were dropped off.

Aug. 10

At 12:11 a.m., a New Fork Lake camper reported a medical emergency.

At 12:15 a.m., a man’s girlfriend said she was being stalked.

At 2:50 a.m., a man kept getting suspicious calls from a couple saying they were broken down and out of gas o n Calpet Road and had called dispatch for help but no one could come. Dispatch never got the call. The driver was walking to a gas station. The driver got a ride to town for fuel.

At 9:33 a.m., burglar alarms went off in a home; the call was canceled as a deputy responded.

At 10:38 a.m., a Toyota 4Runner was parked in a UPS space. The owner was trying to get it repaired.

At 12:32 p.m., a woman said a computer scam locked up her computer.

At 12:51 p.m., a semi drove into a power line and knocked it down.

At 3:36 p.m., Department of Family Services asked for a deputy’s assistance.

At 4:44 p.m., a southbound silver Toyota pulled into northbound traffic.

At 5:17 p.m., a yellow dump truck dropped a lot of gravel along Highway 191 toward Sand Draw.

At 8:33 p.m., a broken-down truck needed a tow.

At 8:52 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 8:56 p.m., a truck was pulling a trailer with a grill-smoker that was throwing off embers; the driver was arrested for DUI.

At 9:18 p.m., a suspicious 911 call came from a trailer.

At 10:33 p.m., a deputy requested a blood draw.

At 10:52 p.m., a neighbor complained about really loud music.

At 11:50 p.m., a school and rec center’s outdoor lights were flashing. They have been flashing all summer.

Aug. 11

At 6:03 a.m., a vehicle going 70 in a 45-mph zone threw gravel and messed up a windshield.

At 8:07 a.m., a man reported lost property.

At 8:13 a.m., a woman clicked on a fraudulent website.

At 8:57 a.m., a motorhome came through late at night and damaged an awning.

At 9:22 a.m., a juvenile traveling with an aunt said she called her names, took away her phone charger and kicked her out. Parents were on their way to get the juvenile.

At 9:47 a.m., an injured moose was bleeding by the highway.

At 10:15 a.m., family members argued about who was going to drive.

At 11:49 a.m., a person fell out of a window.

At 12:22 p.m., the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office in North Dakota called for help with an active investigation.

At 12:54 p.m., a person asked how to cancel a protection order.

At 1:46 p.m., a black Ford Explorer passed about 80 mph in a 45-mph construction zone and rocks chipped the caller’s windshield.

At 2:17 p.m., a man wanted to pick up his handgun.

At 3:47 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 4:40 p.m., a caller saw a 24-pack of Budweiser in a truck driving east.

At 4:47 p.m., a caller asked a deputy to get a message to friends camping at Cliff Creek.

At 5:10 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 6:10 p.m., a person’s phone overheated and called 911.

At 6:50 p.m., one loose pug was on one side of the road, a second on the other.

At 7:08 p.m., a sick person had food poisoning.

At 9:04 p.m., flames came from a controlled burn that went out of control.

At 9:36 p.m., fireworks frightened a woman’s dog.

At 10:19 p.m., a couple tipped their canoe over by a river. A deputy took them to their vehicle.

At 10:48 p.m., a Slate Creek camper’s phone accidentally called 911.

Aug. 12

At 4:05 a.m., a suspicious truck was randomly honking the horn in front of a house; a deputy found the vehicle, asked the occupants to get dressed and they moved the truck elsewhere.

At 9:55 a.m., a suspicious but accidental 911 call came in with airplane engines revving in the background.

At 11:49 a.m., people were fighting and shouting and threw things out of the house and a dog out the door. The parties were separated for the evening.

At 12:05 p.m., a man said his son and girlfriend were harassed by a deputy for fighting and no crime had occurred.

At 1:25 p.m., a lodge owner said a rude man dumped his trash and looked through recycling; he took his trash and left.

At 2:54 p.m., a green Subaru was going over 100 mph and ran a driver off the road near Farson.

At 6:01 p.m., Lincoln County asked Sublette EMS to respond to a car accident to treat a compound leg fracture.

At 8:19 p.m., a man with a thick accent sat by a girl on a park and exposed himself. Deputies didn’t find a man matching the description in the park or bars.

At 8:52 p.m., a caller was worried about a neighbor’s bonfires spreading in grass. A deputy checked and the neighbors were prepared to keep the fire contained.

At 11:33 p.m., a red Dodge blinded a driver with headlights and then drove toward him.

At 11:02 p.m., a caller was concerned about two girls and a boy sitting on a corner selling art and asked a deputy to check on them.

At 11:18 p.m., a repo man was trying to take a truck with a camper attached; the owner asked an officer to help mitigate.

At 11:31 p.m., a woman was suicidal; the husband said he would get her help.

Aug. 13

At 3:42 a.m., a burglar alarm went off; the building was cleared.

At 8:46 a.m., a scammer wanted to give someone $2.5 million.

At 3:16 p.m., a person was stepped on after falling off a horse.

At 3:38 p.m., a man called to see if a man walking across America found his elderly missing mother. They weren’t the same people.

At 4 p.m., an RV was parked in the Hoback Campground’s turn lane.

At 4:17 p.m., a man made a drop-off and picked up his phone charger and another man threatened to break his nose.

At 4:59 p.m., a washing machine caught on fire.

At 5:43 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 7:17 p.m., an ill person couldn’t move.
