The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 183 calls from Aug. 28 to Sept. 3, including a theft, a lightning strike, four search-and-rescue calls, a suicidal person, seven vehicle crashes, 14 citizen assists, two structure fires, 27 urinalyses and 27 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 183 calls from Aug. 28 to Sept. 3, including a theft, a lightning strike, four search-and-rescue calls, a suicidal person, seven vehicle crashes, 14 citizen assists, two structure fires, 27 urinalyses and 27 vehicle identification number inspections.

Aug. 28

At 6:58 a.m., a caller reported a driver had been drinking all weekend.

At 7:43 a.m., two huge bull moose were standing by the highway.

At 8:32 a.m., a lot of large rocks were dropping from a gravel truck onto the highway.

At 11:48 a.m., a gravel truck almost ran another driver off the road.

At 12:05 p.m., a person was struggling to breathe.

At 12:33 p.m., a suspicious notification went off when a homeowner’s son went home for lunch.

At 2:12 p.m., a bank’s alarm went off accidentally.

At 2:19 p.m., Tip Top Search and Rescue went to help Fremont County’s rescue teams near Grasshopper Creek.

At 2:51 p.m., a juvenile refused to get on a bus until after having a snack.

At 346 p.m., a large chunk of wood was in the middle of the road.

Aug. 29

At 6:45 a.m., a deputy served a warrant during a traffic stop.

At 8:58 a.m., a drug detective emptied a prescription drop box.

At 12:15 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 12:59 p.m., a neighbor’s dogs were digging holes.

At 1:32 p.m., an abandoned boat and trailer parked at Sylvan Bay for about two years.

At 7:32 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 8:02 p.m., a silver Dodge Ram was drifting and braking.

At 8:50 p.m., a man secured an aggressive dog in his yard.

At 9:58 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

Aug. 30

At 8:25 a.m., a man had issues with a neighbor’s dog.

At 9:41 a.m., a deputy responded to a juvenile-related call.

At 10:25 a.m., an ATV rider was cited for marijuana possession.

At 1:02 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 2:29 p.m., a deputy helped with annual school-bis inspections.

At 2:54 p.m., a man reported a theft.

At 5:28 p.m., two girls were climbing radio towers by the Marbleton ambulance barn.

At 8:41 p.m., a deputy secured an opened door.

At 10:42 p.m., a door was open at the fairgrounds.

Aug. 31

At 3:19 a.m., a fire alarm went off four times; it was a maintenance issue.

At 7:12 a.m., the drone was deployed.

At 7:22 a.m., a deputy escorted a Big Piney funeral procession.

At 10:33 a.m., a landlord wanted keys back from a departing tenant.

At 11:11 a.m., a woman wanted her deceased husband’s truck.

At 11:59 a.m., a brown Toyota pulling a camper ran into an asphalt-filled work trailer.

At 12:34 p.m., a suspicious man had his hoodie zipped over his face.

At 12:59 p.m., a single vehicle rolled while driving to the mountains.

At 1:02 p.m., a Pinedale employee found a suspicious bag of green plant material.

At 1:09 p.m., a man told his son’s ex-girlfriend she needed to move out.

At 1:42 p.m., a man asked about county gun laws.

At 2:31 p.m., a woman reported a Facebook scam.

At 2:46 p.m., a deputy received info about a juvenile matter.

At 2:53 p.m., a caller said an oilfield pad’s pipe was putting out a lot of smoke. It was the county crusher working at the Pinedale South gravel pit.

At 3:11 p.m., Fremont County passed on a call about a horse tied to a dusty trailer. There were wranglers nearby.

At 4:06 p.m., a man hit an antelope near Calpet Road.

At 5:02 p.m., a caller complained about a maintenance man peeking in her window.

At 5:27 p.m., a friend of a man with a no trespass order was snooping.

At 6:15 p.m., people were trying to pout out a fire by Highway 28.

At 9:53 p.m., a customer didn’t want to move from a fire lane.

At 11:36 p.m., a man moved a dead elk off the road.

Sept. 1

At 1:28 a.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 6:56 a.m., a fire alarm went off.

At 8:04 a.m., a man was selling Mexican food from a minivan.

At 9:28 a.m., an angry teen left home; everything worked out.

At 11:27 a.m., a small stray longhaired black cat might need medical attention.

At 11:34 a.m., a man called animal control to get rid of bats in the house.

At 1:01 p.m., Lincoln County passed on a report of overdue fisherpeople; contact was made.

At 1:53 p.m., a deputy was asked to keep a kid off the property.

At 2:09 p.m., a caller’s juvenile friend was suicidal; family and a counselor got involved.

At 2:57 p.m., juveniles were involved in a single-vehicle rollover.

At 3:42 p.m., someone took a car without permission.

At 3:48 p.m., roadside services who couldn’t find emergency help asked if a deputy could jump a vehicle.

At 4:30 p.m., a caller complained about lack of patrols on Iroquois Lane.

At 6:27 p.m., a work truck went off the road and through some barbed-wire fence.

At 6:46 p.m., two dogs were running loose on Highway 351.

At 8:33 p.m., extra people were at a house.

At 8:49 p.m., a caller who had been threatened almost shot at an officer banging on the door.

At 11:17 p.m., a child thought mommy passed out; she was sleeping.

Sept. 2

At 1:21 a.m., a hiker reported a dad missing from a group near Little Divide Lake. Contact was made.

At 12:17 p.m., a controlled substance problem was reported.

At 1:44 p.m., a stray black and white Australian shepherd was found in Snider Basin.

At 4:43 p.m., a boat was sinking at Fremont Lake; everyone had life jackets and swam to shore. Tip Top helped get the boat out of the water.

At 9:04 p.m., a truck hit a deer near the Hoback Rim.

Sept. 3

At 3:33 a.m., a person was threatened in a family dispute.

At 8:01 a.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol asked for a deputy’s help with a vehicle search.

At 9:23 a.m., Tip Top helped Fremont County load crews looking for a 76-year-old hiker missing since the day before.

At 1:15 p.m., a person was outside a car that was struck by lightning.

At 1:34 p.m., a house was struck by lightning but didn’t catch fire. Sublette County Unified Fire stayed on the scene.

At 3:55 p.m., a suspicious dark gray hatchback without plates and a headlight out was parked at a pullout.

At 7:30 p.m., a dog was howling, chickens were out and no one was home for several days.

At 8:42 p.m., campers heard yelling and pistol shots; the people were shooting at cans.

At 10:02 p.m., a house chimney was smoking; the residents had built a fire.

At 10:48 p.m., deputies didn’t locate a glowing orange light that appeared to be a fire.

At 10:56 p.m., a caller reported a fire on Deadline Ridge; it wasn’t found.
