Aug. 21

At 2:04 a.m., a semi driver swerved to miss a deer and the cab and trailer jackknifed.

At 7:53 a.m., a person fell out of bed and broke their hip.

At 9:43 a.m., a man said an arrest warrant was issued for him.

At 10:17 a.m., a woman wanted to talk about a customer’ actions toward an employee.

At 10:27 a.m., a woman checking on a house found an abandoned cat inside eating trash.

At 11:07 a.m., a man said his neighbor’s aggressive dog walked into his house.

At 11:09 a.m., a horse bucked off it rider.

At 11:23 a.m., a man was unconscious after being bucked off a horse; Sublette EMS met the group at the trailhead.

At 11:30 a.m., a woman called with concerns for a recently adopted dog.

At 11:34 p.m., Sublette EMS reported a large hay bale blocking a lane.

At 2:26 p.m., the Routt County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado held property found near Little Sandy Lake.

At 2:53 p.m., a man reported his 64-year-old brother from Minnesota was missing while hiking from the Elkhart Trailhead; he went in on Aug. 5 and he was supposed to be out on Aug. 16.

At 4:23 p.m., a man hurt himself falling out of bed.

At 5:05 p.m., Tip Top Search and Rescue asked a detective to run a credit card report for two days before a missing Minnesota man began his hike.

At 5:18 p.m., a burglary is under investigation.

At 6:37 p.m., a woman heard a loud pop and her power went out.

At 6:48 p.m., a tree was burning near Pinedale South Road.

At 6:48 p.m., dispatchers ran a test case for a lightning strike.

At 7:05 p.m., a deputy responded to a family dispute.

At 7:23 p.m., a woman chased about 11 black cows off her property into a creek bottom.

At 8:11 p.m., a 2016 Chevy Duramax hauling a 24-foot fifth-wheel broke down; the call was transferred to Sweetwater County.

At 9:43 p.m., a sleeping man rolled onto his phone that accidentally called 911.

At 10:16 p.m., a deputy asked a van driver to park off the grass.

At 10:27 p.m., a suspicious high-powered green laser beam was shooting up from the top of a hotel; the manager was advised to take it down.

At 11:31 p.m., a deputy responded to a family dispute with juvenile involvement.

Aug. 22

At 9:45 a.m., a man complained about a barking dog.

At 10:03 a.m., a woman having a seizure had fallen.

At 11:04 a.m., the driver of a white sedan had his head down; a deputy advised the driver to not drive while drowsy.

At 11:05 a.m., a detective ran a federal check before releasing a firearm.

At 2:35 p.m., a black Honda tried to pass while stopped for road construction; then the driver tried to pass on new asphalt. Finally the driver passed several vehicles at once and almost ran a car off the road. The call was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At 2:41 p.m., a white Ford truck with a white camper shell passed at an excessive speed.

At 3:33 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 3:43 p.m., a man said items were missing after movers loaded trucks from his storage units.

At 4:47 p.m., a couple found a half-starved female dog at a site north of Big Piney.

At 5:10 p.m., a man used his chainsaw to cut up and move a big log blocking a Big Piney traffic lane and reported a lot of debris.

At 5:50 p.m., a tree fell across Pine Street.

At 6:06 p.m., a cottonwood tree fell across a road and on a truck.

At 6:24 p.m., a downed tree was blocking both lanes.

At 6:33 p.m., a tree was falling on the corner of a Big Piney house.

At 6:59 p.m., an overdue 58-year-old solo hiker, parked at Elkhart Park, hadn’t called his mother. He was actually not overdue but called his mother.

At 7:35 p.m., a deputy checked on a family after a suspicious open 911 call; everyone was fine.

At 9:23 p.m., a deputy found a school door propped open with a sandbag; all internal doors were locked and the outside door was secured.

At 10:30 p.m., a suspicious man in front of a relative’s home was looking for wifi.

Aug. 23

At 12:56 a.m., a caller reported alcohol served to an underaged person; it’s under investigation.

At 7:38 a.m., a man with Alzheimer’s was walking the dog; his wife found him and he was fine.

At 9:38 a.m., a woman thought a dog found the day before was hers that went missing at the end of February.

At 9:41 a.m., a deputy helped with a house move.

At 10:16 a.m., a man called again about missing items.

At 11:14 a.m., posters disparaging a mayor were up in town.

At 11:29 a.m., a caller was worried about a possibly disoriented young woman in a small car with a deer hide and trash all around it, at a river fishing access. She said she was okay and felting sheep hide.

At 12:07 p.m., a person fainted.

At 12:26 p.m., vandalism of a Daniel business is under investigation.

At 1:03 p.m., a driver took a corner too fast at Fayette-Pole Creek Road and Highway 191 and tipped off a boom lift.

At 1:04 p.m., an incident is being investigated.

At 1:43 p.m., a driver had a seizure, blacked out and his vehicle went off the road, WHP responded.

At 4:44 p.m., a man said his son and biking partner were caught in a storm and someone took them to a sheep ranch off of Big Sandy Road; he couldn’t reach them. They ended up making contact.

At 4:44 p.m., a woman got four different fraudulent calls that day, each requesting $7,000.

At 8:27 p.m., a woman asked for help reuniting a mother moose in the yard and her twin calves on the other side of the fence.

At 9:31 p.m., a woman was worried about her husband, who was getting firewood and didn’t have cell service.

Aug. 24

At 7:52 a.m., a male inmate was taken to Fremont County.

At 10:47 a.m., a man asked that his car and boat not be towed before he picked them up.

At 11:14 a.m., a man’s wife left the hotel for a soda at 9:30 and hadn’t returned. She’d gotten turned around in town and walked east instead of west.

At 12:17 p.m., a person shot themselves in the foot and was coming to the clinic.

At 1:24 p.m., a person felt lightheaded and ill.

At 3:01 p.m., an arrest warrant was served for bond revocation.

At 4:02 p.m., a man reported seeing people take out a baggy, roll something and start smoking it, which he believed was a controlled substance. A deputy saw nothing or no one in the vehicle so he had no probable cause.

At 6:52 p.m., a woman said someone took her two dogs; she found them in different places.

At 7:43 p.m., a mayor asked a deputy to talk to people parking in handicapped parking.

At 7:59 p.m., about 15 cows were walking down Moose-Gypsum Road toward the highway.

At 8:48 p.m., a neighbor’s kid was spinning out and upsetting the horses; the caller also asked if registered sex offenders can pick their kids up from school.

At 11:05 p.m., vehicles crashed in a next-door lot.

At 11:20 p.m., a Rapid SOS call was accidental.

Aug. 25

At 7:36 a.m., a foal that was caught in a fence was cut up and needed attention. The owner was contacted.

At 7:51 a.m., a man said he had fenced out cows but they are jumping the cattle guard.

At 9:18 a.m., a red semi with a Walmart trailer slowed as two girls were crossing the street but speeded back up and almost hit them.

At 9:31 a.m., an RV was swerving all over the road; the call was transferred to WHP.

At 9:39 a.m., the sheriff responded to the Pinedale Library where a citizen was causing a problem.

At 9:40 a.m., a man reported a missing package.

At 10:32 a.m., two dogs were closed in a silver Toyota for at least half an hour.

At 12:30 p.m., a woman said someone was stalking and harassing her.

At 1 p.m., kids came into the library and said someone at the skate park threatened them with a knife. A deputy said the other kids were being mean and talked to them and parents about carrying any weapons.

At 2:19 p.m., a man reported a scam call that his grandson was in an accident but they didn’t know his grandson’s name.

At 4:30 p.m., two motorcycles did not stop for a family, telling the family they could get killed if they did that again.

At 5:32 p.m., a man said a lot of live traps were set around a vacant house and one was there two days without food or water; if nobody came to get them he was going to let them out.

At 5:38 p.m., a man used an emergency device to report two missing climbers for a friend. They made it back to camp.

At 5:51 p.m., a woman’s ex didn’t bring her kids back from California.

At 7:28 p.m., a person had trouble breathing.

At 7:34 p.m., a natural gas odor was reported to Sublette County Unified Fire.

At 8:30 p.m., two white trucks doing donuts damaged other vehicles. One driver was not involved; the other drove away.

At 11:01 p.m., a deputy contacted a key holder after finding an unsecured door.

Aug. 26

At 5:37 a.m., a deputy found a stray black male chihuahua.

At 5:50 a.m., a person reported having diarrhea for more than 10 days.

At 11:36 a.m., a 911 call came in to Rapid SOS but didn’t ring into dispatch, who learned the 911 system was down.

At 12:30 p.m., Fremont County Sheriff’s Office was trying to contact a very experienced hiker due out on Aug. 30. The call was canceled.

At 2:50 p.m., a Rapid SOS call came in without ringing 911; dispatch was having issues with the 911 system and landlines.

At 3:14 p.m., a Rapid SOS call came in with nothing on 911. Dispatch called back and the caller said a sister had almost fainted but did not need an ambulance now.

At 4:29 p.m., a woman’s cell phone called Rapid SOS but it didn’t ring into 911; dispatch called back and got her voicemail.

At 4:59 p.m., a phone accidentally dialed Rapid SOS.

At 7:59 p.m., a woman had information for a current investigation.

At 9:50 p.m., a person reported a gas leak inside.

At 10:37 p.m., a man in a sequined jacket and shorts was walking in and out of bars with his own alcohol. A deputy didn’t find him.

Aug. 27

At 12:02 a.m., a man was arrested for DUI.

At 12:54 a.m., a blood draw was requested.

At 4:45 a.m., a person was up all night with leg pains.

At 9:23 a.m., Fremont County called to report a climber fell; the other climber couldn’t see if the person was moving. Tip Top assisted with a rescue.

At 10:11 a.m., a person’s lower abdomen was very painful.

At 10:55 a.m., a person reported getting metal in their eye the day before.

At 11:08 a.m., two tan horses were loose on Ehman Lane.

At 11:50 a.m., a man asked about an alarm notification the night before; he asked for a property watch.

At 12:37 p.m., a man said he last saw his horse on Monday when it broke out of the corral and took off. He couldn’t find it anywhere and was worried someone might do something to it.

At 2:39 p.m., a woman sent a friend an SOS the day before that she was very ill; the friend couldn’t reach her. The hiker called that morning and was fine.

At 3:44 p.m., Wyoming Game and Fish asked a deputy to check on an osprey nest with a bird hanging off it.

At 4:07 p.m., a man had information about a juvenile-related investigation.

At 5:01 p.m., a hiker going in at Green River Lakes was supposed to make contact every day but hadn’t. A search was canceled after he contacted his family.

At 5:18 p.m., a man tried to avoid hitting a vehicle then hit a delineator; he didn’t realize he was supposed to report that.

At 11:13 p.m., an ill person was taken to the clinic.
