PINEDALE — The Sublette County community showed up for the 9th Annual First Responders Appreciation Dinner, with about 100 folks in attendance at the Lovatt Room on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Members of the Sublette County Unified Fire Department, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sublette EMS, Tip Top Search and Rescue, and the American Red Cross, as well as Emergency Management Coordinator Jim Mitchell, were on hand to receive the community’s appreciation and extend their own.
Citizens also gave thanks to the family members of local first responders who make sacrifices in their relationships and at home so their loved ones can serve Sublette County. Several responders expressed their gratitude for the way the organizations work together and support one another in Sublette County.

Pinedale’s Church of the Resurrection, Pinedale Mayor Matt Murdock and the community come together each October to host the dinner as a way of saying “thank you” to local first responders.
