Dear editor,
We have known Jason Ray since he was a teenager and have never seen negative of any kind. He has always been kind, considerate, intelligent and honest, with a strong work ethic. He has been our primary medical provider since Dr. Burnett retired and we could not be more pleased with his performance. He demonstrates a caring attitude, listens fully and provides treatment needed. He has provided several referrals to specialists that have been well researched. We dread the prospect of finding a replacement.
The actions of the Sublette County Hospital Board and the Wyoming Board of Medicine seem radical and reactionary in view of the circumstances with little lasting injury or damage demonstrated, just a lapse in good judgment. Why can his accusers hide in anonymity like victims when they were long time willing participants?
Certainly the authorities involved should consider alternatives, setting up controls, oversight and supervision to allow probationary reinstatement. Jason is too astute to allow reoccurrence of the impropriety.
His skills, training and capabilities are far too valuable to waste with a hasty dismissal. Our new hospital is in great need of capable medical professionals with local ties.
We believe many others will agree with us and hope they will speak up to offer support.
Bill & Rita Boender, Pinedale
