White Pine extends ski season

Posted

SUBLETTE COUNTY – Although White Pine Resort canceled a couple of ski-racing events this month, management announced this week it will stay open into April as long as the snow lasts.

More than 200 people responded to the White Pine survey with support to extend the ski season this winter and that feedback was key to management’s decision, as will be sufficient snow. Snowboard and ski lessons and advance ticket bookings are back online with White Pine open Friday through Monday.

The tubing hill will be open on Presidents Day afternoon, Monday, Feb. 19, and race training continues through the season.
