PINEDALE — To continue broadening its impact and reaching audiences across Wyoming, Off Square Theatre (OST) is taking Thin Air Shakespeare on tour this year and coming to Sublette County later this month. OST is pleased to announce its first performance in Pinedale on June 29 at 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend a special preview of excerpts from Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet at the American Legion Park.
Thin Air Shakespeare is a free, outdoor, professional theater experience offered annually since 2013 at the Center for the Arts in Jackson.
Youth are encouraged to come early for a free stage combat workshop beginning at 4 p.m. with director Edgar Landa (ages 12+) and are invited to stay after to enjoy the first concert in Pinedale Fine Arts Council’s Soundcheck Summer Music Series. In addition, OST’s teaching artists will be in residence in Pinedale providing workshops for students in preschool and elementary school throughout the week.
OST’s Pinedale tour of Thin Air Shakespeare is made possible in part with support from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, a program of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources.
