On Jan. 30, the Pinedale Airport registered -33 degrees F, forcing the Pedigree Stage Stop Race marshal to reschedule Monday’s race for Thursday. A low of -34 F was recorded in Bondurant, which also received as much as 15 inches of new snow associated with the recent storm. Over in Big Piney, the thermometer bottomed out at -38 degrees F on Jan. 30, and in Boulder, the low reached -34 F.

SUBLETTE COUNTY — An arctic blast that swept across Sublette County and western Wyoming brought fresh snow and bitterly cold temperatures to the area, according to the National Weather Service - Riverton.

Official snowfall reports indicate Pinedale received between 6 and 9 inches of new snow from the weekend’s storm and Cora saw as many as 9 inches, while Boulder recorded 3 inches of new snowfall.
