SUBLETTE COUNTY — Two people are recovering after sustaining superficial injuries from an accidental discharge of a firearm last week. The pair presented at the Pinedale Clinic with reported “gunshot wounds” at around 6:50 p.m., on Monday, April 15. Sublette County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Office Sgt. Travis Bingham told the Roundup that the owner of the gun was retrieving a .22 from his safe when the firearm discharged into the safe. The gun owner and another individual nearby suffered only minor injuries as a result of shrapnel from the blast. Both were treated at the Pinedale Clinic and are now recovering at home.
