Jerald Dale “Jerry” Johnson, 80, died May 24, 2026, after a battle with cancer. His wife, Martha, survives him.

Also surviving are his son, Casey (Cybil) Johnson of Cora, Wyo., and his daughter, Brandy Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz., and four stepchildren, Alison Sower, Erin Lebeau and Luke and Jared Tousin. Surviving grandchildren are Tylar (Bridger) Crosbie of Cora, Wyo., and Ryan (Nicole) Johnson of Green River, Wyo., and great-grandchildren, Huxley, Cooper and Merrick Crosbie. Also surviving is his sister, Shirley Keliehor of Colorado Springs, Colo.

He made life-lasting friendships as he moved throughout Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming and Missouri over the years. He deeply cherished each of those friendships like brothers and sisters.

Jerry had a deep love for his Creator, Jehovah. He had a resolute faith and was a longtime servant of his God. We will miss him immensely for now, but will look forward to the day we will joyfully be reunited with him at the time of the Bible's promised resurrection to a peaceful earth, John 5:28,29.

Because Jerry's family and friends encompass so many different states, it was decided there will be no Memorial Service. Instead, the obituary on Legacy.com allows for family and friends to leave messages for the surviving family.
