Darrel Michael “Mike” Lahoe passed away on February 13, at his home in Pinedale, Wyo.

Mike was born in Ogden, Utah, to Elsie Murphy and Joseph Lahoe on November 6, 1955. He spent many years of his life traveling. However, Wyoming is where his heart was and where he finally decided to plant some roots and call it “home.”

Mike spent the last 14 years of his life working at the Wapika Ranch, the job that he loved. Mike loved his kids and grandkids above all else. He couldnt have been more proud of them. Mike was very proud of their accomplishments, even if it was the grandkids just trying their best at sports.
He loved to be on the back of a horse in Gods country, hunting, fishing, and truly anything outdoors.

Mike was loved by friends and family from all around.

His memory continues to live on through his family including his seven children, Mike and Kristi Lahoe of Delta, Colo., Mindi Lahoe of Bartow, Fla., Joseph Wilson, Cole Lahoe, KC and Aly Lahoe of Thermopolis, Wyo., Trapper & Kacii Lahoe of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Feather and Stockton Coble of Thermopolis; his sister Gayle Ann Lahoe Ostrom; and a loving group of grandchildren.

Mike was met with open arms by his heavenly family, including his mother Elsie, his father Joseph, siblings Bob Lahoe, Jody Parker and Shirley Eckman, as well as two of his grandchildren, Cole Lahoe and Christopher Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held in Boulder, Wyo., at the Boulder Community Center beginning at 1 p.m. on March 9.

The family would like to invite and welcome anyone who would like to attend. Please come if you can make it. This will be an open event.
