Bonnie Bingham, 82, of Riverton, passed away June 14, at the Sublette
Center in Pinedale.
Bonnie was born May 5, 1937, to Melvin and Lovena Butcher, in Salt
Lake City, Utah. She met her husband of 39 years, Clyde Bingham, in
Green River. Together they had one son, Gary Bingham, born July 27,
1954. Bonnie worked for the United States Postal Service for many years
and loved to paint, write and collect books.
She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Lovena Butcher,
husband Clyde Bingham, brothers Glen, Norman, Lloyd, Donald, David,
Larry, Jerry as well as sisters Maxine Yeager, Joyce Ward and Shirley
Perry.
Survivors include her son Gary Bingham (Billie), grandchildren Cheryl Essington (Jason)
Travis Bingham (Amanda) and great-grandchildren Rachael and Christopher Essington and
Kaden and Kaleb Bingham, as well as companion Robert Kness. Bonnie is also survived by her
brother Dennis Butcher, sisters Sherrie Zenger, Susie Whitehead and Pat Davies.
At Bonnie’s request, a graveside service at the Pinedale Cemetery was conducted June 19 at
1:30 p.m., followed by a reception at St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church.
