Billie Jo Laughter, 55, passed away on March 22 in Salt Lake City. She was born on Feb. 12, 1971, on Bill’s Air Force base in California to Ruth and William Clark. At the age of eight her family moved to Rock Springs where she grew up and went to school. She graduated from Rock Springs Alternative High School in 1991, at the age of 20. She married Jim Laughter on March 30, 1992. She worked at the Silver Spur bar for almost six years as a bartender and a manager. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and William, her stepmother, Dot, her sister, Ann, and her niece, Jessica.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Laughter; her children, Melissa Ingwerson, Travis William Michael Clark, Kevin, April Dawn Stansell, Helen (Gray) Bernice Laughter, and her sisters Kay Latham, Gail Clark, and Brenda Hamby. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Stephan, Caiden Dean Laughter, Trenton Carol Stansell, Violet Jane Nicole Stansell, Angel Ingwerson, and Junior Ingwerson, as well as plenty of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details still being arranged.
