Bill Kozeal, 59, of Van Orin, Illinois passed away on Saturday, August 31.

Bill was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado on July 20, 1965, to Richard and Barbara (Olson) Kozeal. He graduated from Big Piney High School in 1984 and from the University of Wyoming in 1994 with a degree in Elementary Education. Bill married Renee Anderson in La Moille, Ill. on May 19, 1995. He impacted many young lives working as a youth counselor for several years and has worked in the Ag retail industry for the past eleven years, most recently with Nutrien Ag Solutions at the Dixon facility.

Bill was passionate about many things in life including his family, friends, and special pets he loved deeply. His hobbies included mountain biking, fly fishing, motorsports and camping. He especially enjoyed experiencing new places and adventures with family. He lived his life serving others, making people laugh, and always striving to make memories.” To know Bill was to know you were loved.

He is survived by his wife Renee; sister Terry Moser of Gillette, Wyo.; sister Becky Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; brother Joe Kozeal of Big Piney, Wyo.; brother Doug Kozeal of Big Piney, Wyo.; son Griffin Kozeal and his wife Kayla of Laramie, Wyo.; son Max Kozeal of Dixon, Ill.; one grandson Tyson Kozeal and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Barbara Kozeal, and his brother Bob Kozeal.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 4 at the Community United Methodist Church in La Moille. A private graveside service and burial will take place at Union Cemetery in La Moille followed by a public celebration of Bills life on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m., at the Le Moille Lyons Club, 308 E Howard St, La Moille.
