Arloa Lee Carnahan

Arloa Lee Carnahan, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Big Piney, Wyo. She was born on Dec. 7, 1944, to the late Dan and Doris Knott, the eldest of two children. She grew up on her family’s ranch on Trout Creek near Oak Creek, Colo.
Arloa married Rupard Carnahan on Aug. 3, 1963, and together they had two sons, Tad and Brad. Arloa was a devoted mother and never missed a wrestling match of Tad’s or Brad’s and supported them through their involvement in 4-H. As her family expanded with grandchildren, she continued her unwavering presence in her family’s lives. She was a constant figure in the many livestock shows, athletic events, birthdays and life events. She never missed an opportunity to be there for her family.
Throughout her life, Arloa was well known for her prolific quilting, for which she earned many first prizes at the local county fair. She was a passionate supporter of 4-H, attending livestock shows and supporting youth through the junior livestock sale.
Arloa leaves to cherish her in loving memory, children Tad (Kim) and Brad, grandchildren Austin, Cole, Mackenzie (AJ), McKenna (Tristan), Tate, Kellum and McKaul, and two great-grandchildren, Eliana and Caden.
Arloa was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Doris.
