PureWest’s current development plans

Posted

SUBLETTE COUNTY – With public notices for PureWest in the Pinedale Anticline and Jonah Energy in the Jonah and NPL fields, the Pinedale Roundup asked each about their current activities and thoughts on the natural gas market.

PureWest’s Kelly Bott replied in a Jan. 25 email.

“The PureWest team is responding to energy needs by maximizing our production throughout the (Anticline) field,” she said. “We currently have one rig operating and continue to evaluate our future development activities.”

Bott continued, “Recent legal notices related to air quality permitting are a mix of new facilities brought online, as well as an initiative to modify our air permits to reflect actual equipment as production declines and we are able to consolidate and/or remove redundancies in the field.

“We continue to navigate supply-chain and inflationary challenges, and we are working hard to identify and mitigate these issues early so we have minimal disruption to our development plans.

“Most of our gas flows to West Coast markets, though pipeline infrastructure makes it possible to deliver throughout the country. At this time, all of our gas is sold domestically.
