Jason Andrew Stott
June 16, 1979 — April 10, 2024
Jason Andrew Stott passed away on April 10, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City due to complications from a lengthy illness, despite a very brave fight to get well. He was 44 years old.
Jason was born on June 16, 1979, in Jackson, Wyo. He attended Pinedale Elementary School and Pinedale Middle School, earning straight A grades, and graduated from Pinedale High School in 1997.
Jason was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors’ Lutheran Church in Pinedale. He worked at Whole Foods Market for many years, managing several departments. He worked in Santa Fe, New Mexico, fort Collins, Colo., Park City, Utah and Salt Lake City. He then became his Dad’s top mechanic at Bridger Speed ’n’ Sport in Pinedale; calling his Dad “Chief” until he no long were able to work due to his illness.
Jason was a very talented musician; he picked up a guitar and taught himself to play. He played in a couple of local bands in Pinedale. He could play any song and mimicked songs on tape or the radio! Jason loved sports and playing horseshoes!
He will be so missed. He was so loved by many people, including his family and friends. Jason was so thoughtful and giving to everyone around him, including his pups Taudi (who passed in 2017) and Teeza (who misses him terribly).
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Dick and Nancy Stott, Bill Puder and Marian Harshman, his big brother Richie Stott, his uncle John Puder, aunt Nancy Weller and cousins Angie Jones and Meghan Saulino.
Jason is survived by his parents Ric Stott, Jeanne Stott, his aunts Jan Ambler, Marcella (Bob) Siefken, Jennine (Louis) Saulino and his uncle Don Puder. He is also survived by his cousins John Ambler, Paul Christensen, Teddi Phillips, Chrissy (Rob) Fryer and Nicholas (Nichole) Saulino.
A memorial service may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Happy Endings Animal Rescue in Pinedale.
Jason, you are and will always be so missed and loved. Until we meet again…
