The Sublette County Attorney's stance on evidence against Cody Roberts is confusing

Posted

Dear Editor,

I am a bit confused here. I was just told by the Sublette County Attorney's Office that the video of the depraved performance put on by Cody Roberts in the Green River Bar is not evidence enough to charge him. They must have eyewitness reports from people in the bar. They say they cannot prosecute on hearsay. Why was Wyoming Game and Fish able to charge him with a $250 fine for possession of a live wild animal? Roberts did not publicly deny that it was in fact him in the video and he did perform this repulsive display of demented sadism.

Sincerely,

Shelah Vogel, Island Pond, Vermont
