WYOMING – The unemployment rates in the state and Sublette County specifically both fell in October.
Wyoming’s statewide unemployment numbers dropped from 4.5 to 4.1 percent, the Wyoming Workforce Services’ Research & Planning section reported on Monday.
“The recent decreases in Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate have been largely the result of unemployed individuals leaving the labor force,” the release said.
Sublette County’s unemployment rate dropped from 3.4 percent to 3.0, for one of the largest decreases in the state. However, Sublette’s rate was still the second-highest in Wyoming following Sweetwater (3.1 percent).
The Research & Planning section said November unemployment numbers will be released on Dec. 20.
