Dani Long and Shondel Bennett drove a Sublette County EMS ambulance to Cheyenne to represent western Wyoming in the ceremony at the State Capitol to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorism attacks.

Sublette EMS participates in Sept. 11 ceremony

WYOMING – Dani Long and Shondel Bennett drove a Sublette County EMS ambulance to Cheyenne to represent western Wyoming in the ceremony at the State Capitol to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorism attacks.

Sublette County EMS received an invitation to the ceremony from Wyoming State EMS Supervisor Brandon Kelley.

Gov. Mark Gordon, U.S. Sen. John Barrasso, Maj. Gen. Greg Porter of the Wyoming National Guard and Wyoming Office of Homeland Security Director Lynn Budd all made emotional speeches during the ceremony.

Sublette County EMS was presented with a wreath for its participation, one it could return to the county to commemorate participation in the ceremony.
