The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 149 incidents from Oct. 21 through Oct. 27, including a domestic, two REDDI reports, an instance of property damage, five traffic crashes with damage, four livestock problems, a suicidal person, one theft, 14 suspicious persons/circumstances, two juvenile problems, five welfare checks, 12 citizen assists, 27 urinalyses and 37 vehicle identification number inspections.

 

Oct. 21

At 8:18 a.m., a pair of hunters came across a small stand of smoldering trees and were worried the fire would take off with the wind.

At 8:23 a.m., a longtime friend of Bill Atkinson was seeking information about funeral services.

At 11:11 a.m., a REDDI report was issued for a maroon Subaru.

At 12:27 p.m., a fawn is stuck in the fence near the bushes.

At 1:01 p.m., a woman who reported a theft at her property last week wanted to speak to a deputy.

At 1:34 p.m., a man who had a property watch in effect for his property wanted to file a report on people there taking photos.

At 1:52 p.m., a citizen needed assistance.

At 2:14 p.m., a fender bender occurred in front of the library.

At 3:53 p.m., two llamas were walking southbound on Ehman Lane.

At 4 p.m., a citizen at Fast Stop in Big Piney needed assistance.

At 5:03 p.m., a young moose was confused on the highway.

At 11:10 p.m., a person with asthma was having problems breathing.

 

Oct. 22

At 8:09 a.m., an employee whose former employer was withholding his final paycheck wanted to file for relief.

At 10:35 a.m., a visitor from Oregon accidentally called 911.

At 11:27 a.m., an abandoned vehicle was reported.

At 12:13 p.m., a neighbor’s shed was open.

At 1:29 pm., a welfare check was requested.

At 3:57 p.m., a juvenile needed assistance.

At 8:09 p.m., a son accidentally called 911.

At 9:48 p.m., a person sitting in their backyard heard screaming toward Pine Street.

 

Oct. 23

At 8:31 a.m., a welfare check was requested.

At 8:49 a.m., a prisoner was transported.

At 10:07 a.m., agency assistance was requested.

At 10:14 a.m., a white GMC passed unsafely.

At 11:36 a.m., a theft was reported.

At 11:41 a.m., ranchers were moving 280 head of cattle from near the Daniel Junction to Schoolhouse Lane.

At 1:18 p.m., the V.A. Office requested a welfare check.

At 2 p.m., a Dodge passed unsafely, nearly causing a head on collision.

At 2:06 p.m., the driver of a black SUV might be looking for things to steal.

At 2:40 p.m., a garage alarm activated. The wind may have blown the back door open.

At 3:44 p.m., a personal breath test was performed.

At 5:48 p.m., a deer jumped into the side of a pickup truck.

 

Oct. 24

At 10:02 a.m., a person in the lobby wanted to speak to a deputy about paper’s his sons as served.

At 11:42 a.m., lost property was reported.

At 12:09 p.m., two men selling Kirby vacuums from a black SUV were suspicious.

At 2:59 p.m., the driver of a truck “blew a turbo” and needed assistance.

At 3:03 p.m., a caller who is new to the area had questions about gun ownership.

At 4:15 p.m., a portable breath test was conducted.

At 4:24 p.m., a fender bender occurred.

At 7:39 p.m., a domestic assault was reported.

At 10:41 p.m., teens were kicking doors and yelling as they walked down the street.

 

Oct. 25

At 8:11 a.m., a fraud was reported.

At 8:50 a.m., a commercial burglar alarm activated.

At 9;19 a.m., eight cows were on the side of the highway near Scab Creek.

At 10:29 a.m., a person was having chest pain and their arm hurt.

At 10:35 a.m., a white truck and a silver car collided.

At 10:49 a.m., a woman’s stolen credit card was used locally but the transaction didn’t go through.

At 11:14 a.m., a call about a suicidal subject was unfounded.

At 1:09 p.m., a fire alarm was unfounded.

At 1:17 p.m., a REDDI report was issued for a semi truck that was slowing down and speeding up.

At 3:28 p.m., a report of little girl left alone was unfounded. Her father was in the apartment.

At 3:54 p.m., an iPhone relayed that its owner was in an accident.

At 3:56 p.m., the driver of a grey freight liner reported a white semi speeding and unable to maintain its lane of travel.

At 7:38 p.m., a 911 call was accidental.

At 10:46 p.m., debris were cleared off the highway.

 

Oct. 26

At 12:09 a.m., two kids at the skatepark with flashlights were being loud and yelling.

At 12:28 a.m., an engine might have blown out and there was debris on the road.

At 7:07 a.m., a 911 open line was an accidental call.

At 9:06 a.m., a single black cow was on the side of the road.

At 9:09 a.m., a person was ill.

At 9:30 a.m., a person in the lobby wanted to report threats made by their neighbor.

At 9:48 a.m., a 911 call was accidental.

At 11:11 a.m., lost property was reported.

At 11:34 a.m., a person ran out of medicine.

At 11:39 a.m., a woman was sitting in front of a local business putting on makeup.

At 11:50 a.m., a blind dog was lost.

At 12:56 p.m., a woman hit a deer on Fremont Lake Road.

At 2:23 p.m., a woman was being followed. It was unfounded.

At 2:44 p.m., two RapidSOS notifications came through.

At 5:18 p.m., a person had a headache.

At 5:47 p.m., an investigation was launched into a traffic offense.

At 6:50 p.m., a welfare check was requested.

At 10:14 p.m., the Elkhorn Bar and Trading Post reported a drunk guy slashed the tires of a vehicle and headed toward Jackson.

At 11:09 p.m., neighbor’s kids were stealing yard signs.

 

Oct. 27

At 9:22 a.m., a welfare check was requested.

At 4:49 p.m., a motorhome parked at the campground for a few weeks might have been abandoned.

At 6:06 p.m., a deer that was hit by a vehicle could not walk.
