The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 222 calls from July 8 through July 14 — a 16.2 percent increase from the prior week — including a search and rescue, a sex offense, 12 motorist assists, two threats, four crashes, 10 livestock problems, one DUI, nine suspicious persons/circumstances, two thefts, five welfare checks, a missing person, 17 citizen assists, four traffic accidents with damage, an instance of harassment, 32 urinalyses and 25 vehicle identification number inspections.
July 8
At 12:04 a.m., a welfare check was requested.
At 2:15 a.m., a tanker truck needed assistance.
At 9:37 a.m., cows were moving across the New Fork Bridge to the other side of the highway.
At 11:56 a.m., a grey Subaru crossing the center line and swerving was headed northbound.
At 1:17 p.m., a person with chest pains was possibly having a heart attack.
At 1:32 p.m., found property was turned in to the SCSO.
At 2 p.m., drywall in the middle of the road was a traffic hazard.
At 2:05 p.m., a charcoal-colored vehicle was hanging out across the street and watching someone’s children. A deputy located the car and its driver.
At 3:16 p.m., a person had a heart rate of 32.
At 3:54 p.m., a motorist from Texas needed assistance.
At 4:32 p.m., a car flipped over on the Gren River Lakes Road.
At 5:02 p.m., a smaller horse appeared to be dying. The horse’s owner was notified.
At 5:26 p.m., a civil standby was requested.
At 6:05 p.m., several vehicles, including a white Dodge 1500, were parked on the road to the Pinedale Rodeo Grounds.

July 9
At 7:40 a.m., a driver was arrested for speeding and for not having a driver’s license.
At 8:18 a.m., a caller had questions about a line painting truck traveling 7 mph near the Daniel Junction with a sign that read, “Do not pass. Cameras in use.” The caller wanted to know if it is illegal to pass a line painting truck as she’d never seen such a sign before.
At 9:39 a.m., 70 head of cattle were moving across the highway.
At 9:51 a.m., a person fell and hurt their shoulder.
At 10:22 a.m., a motorist needed assistance.
At 10:38 a.m., found property was reported to the SCSO.
At 11:13 a.m., a person received a fraudulent phone call about their daughter’s vehicle being impounded.
At 11:18 a.m., a black, brown and white, medium-sized dog without a collar was running around in the road.
At 12:42 p.m., a juvenile reported bullying at the skatepark.
At 1:13 p.m., an abandoned vehicle was reported.
At 1:44 p.m., a parked white Chevy SUV was sticking out in the road.
At 2:05 p.m., a camper reported as abandoned had someone living in it and was a civil matter.
At 2:51 p.m., the Little Jennie Ranch was preparing to move about 300 head of cattle across the highway.
At 4:17 p.m., a silver Subaru Outback with green trim was parked for more than 48 hours in front of a business office.
At 4:50 p.m., a person had a seizure.

At 2:07 a.m., the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported a medical emergency after an intoxicated person stopped responding to verbal commands.
At 3:57 a.m., a dead pronghorn on the highway was a traffic hazard.
At 7:05 a.m., Game and Fish removed a dead moose calf from the highway.
At 10:29 a.m., a person who dropped their vehicle off to have work done claimed it was nowhere to be found but the vehicle was inside the garage bay.
At 11:08 a.m., an information report was received related to a dog bite.
At 11:51 a.m., a person had a seizure.
At 12:25 p.m., a person who accidentally dialed 911 stayed on the line to answer questions.
At 1:37 p.m., animal control located the owners of three dogs chasing kids on bikes.
At 2:25 p.m., a dozen head of cattle were in the caller’s front yard.
At 3:26 p.m., the driver of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop was arrested on a warrant out of Platte County.
At 7:08 p.m., a person received a scam call stating she had won 3.5 million dollars.
At 9:59 p.m., a caller wanted to report a text and phone call she received and wondered if the sender had access to information on her phone.

At 3:12 a.m., a child called 911 to report a domestic disturbance.
At 6:59 a.m., a driver was arrested for speeding, driving while under suspension, and no insurance.
At 7:33 a.m., an older black lab with a collar but no tags was picked up on Tyler Avenue across from the Pinedale Library. The dog was returned to its owner.
At 7:48 a.m., a suspect was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child.
At 8:19 a.m., the driver of a rental car hit a deer.
At 8:55 a.m., a driver had begun to sweat a lot and might be sick.
At 9:20 a.m., a person who ordered a welding vest in February 2023 reported that he still had not received the item.
At 9:47 a.m., a found purse was returned to its owner.
At 10:34 a.m., a 911 call was accidental.

At 10:09 p.m., a suspect who was refused service left the bar before deputies could arrive.

At 10:53 p.m., a truck with no headlights but taillights on was unattended.
July 12
At 2:08 a.m., a very intoxicated group of men found a phone on Pine Street and were trying to see who it belonged to. The phone was returned to its owner the next morning.
At 6:52 a.m., a person couldn’t get up off the floor. The patient was taken to the clinic.
At 7:51 a.m., a person came into the lobby searching for their missing phone. It was returned.
At 8:04 a.m., a blue Volkswagon Jetta was swerving all over the road.
At 8:08 a.m., a motorist needed assistance.
At 10:34 a.m., a grey Dodge 3500 truck with Utah plates blew through signal lights with flaggers going in and out.
At 11:09 a.m., a motorist needed assistance.
At 11:42 a.m., a person was threatening.
At 11:47 a.m., a driver was arrested for driving while under suspension.
At 2:38 p.m., a property management service served an eviction notice 48 hours ago and wanted a civil standby for a walkthrough.
At 3 p.m., a 911 open line came through.
At 4:44 p.m., lost property was reported.
At 5:10 p.m., a missing person was reported. It was unfounded.
At 5:29 p.m., an older couple with a flat tire needed a tow truck.
At 6:03 p.m., a caller explained his kid was playing with his phone and accidentally called 911.
At 6:56 p.m., a hat vendor reported a male in his early 20s with a tattoo on his right arm purchased a hat, tried to return it later, was told it was a “final sale,” and then responded by threatening to “burn them all down tonight.”

At 7:59 a.m., an active theft was reported.
At 9:38 a.m., a fire alarm was unfounded.
At 9:57 a.m., deputies assisted with the Green River Rendezvous Days parade through downtown Pinedale.
At 10:14 a.m., two dogs were running on and off the highway.

At 7:50 a.m., a caller who broke up with her boyfriend needed help retrieving a fifth wheel on his property. She said he blocked it in with other vehicles.
At 9:23 a.m., a person who reported their wallet stolen out of their vehicle found it at the hotel front desk.
At 10:44 a.m., a customer at Dollar Tree came out to her side-by-side to find that her driver’s license and iPhone were gone.
