PINEDALE – Two dozen artists from around Sublette County and beyond braved the creative challenge issued by Mystery Print Gallery & Frame owner David Klarén in Pinedale to dig deep and come up with a vision of how they see themselves. An opening reception took place on Thursday, July 6, with many different portraits, from fired carved clay to an “underwater” pool and bones, paints, selfies and sketches. Just like people, no two were remotely alike. (Self) Portrait will hang through August at Mystery Print Gallery, 227 S. Sublette Ave., and then travel to Clay Paper Scissors Gallery in Cheyenne.
