SCSO introduces new K9, Frankie

SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office introduced new K9, Frankie, earlier this week, along with a donation of body armor specifically for the K9.

The Sheriff’s office announced on Tuesday that Deputy Krystal Mansur has been training with the new K9 for the past few weeks. Frankie is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois from Mexico and is trained to detect illegal narcotics.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., a nonprofit based in Massachusetts, donated a bullet and stab protective vest to the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office for Frankie’s use.
