SUBLETTE COUNTY — There’s no shortage of Easter celebrations and egg hunts around Sublette County this weekend. Here’s a round-up of what’s planned.
On Saturday, March 30, the Pinedale Lions Club hosts its annual Easter Egg Hunt in Boyd Skinner Park beginning at 10 a.m. sharp. Toddlers and children through fifth grade are invited to join in the fun. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to make an appearance again this year, so parents and guardians should bring their cameras. Kiddos hunt up the eggs in the blink of an eye, so don’t be late! The Pinedale Leos and National Arts Honor Society students will provide face painting. The Pinedale Lions Club has hosted the egg hunt for more than 25 years.
Also on Saturday, March 30 beginning at 10 a.m. is the Boulder Community Center’s Easter Egg Hunt. Participants will be split into four divisions based on age. Four grand prize gift baskets with gift cards are also up for grabs. An indoor egg hunt will be held for babies and toddlers. This event is organized by the Young Guns Shooting Spots and Natural Resources and by Boulder Buckskins 4-H Club.
Later Saturday is the Daniel Easter Egg Hunt, beginning at 2 p.m., at the Daniel Community Center, 18 School House Lane in Daniel. More than 500 eggs are hidden, including two golden eggs associated with grand prizes. Following the egg hunt, Easter activities, treats and beverages for all ages will be provided. For more information, call or text Rena at 307-360-8438.
In Big Piney, the First Baptist Church is hosting its Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
On Sunday, March 31, the Pinedale Bible Church hosts its Sunrise Easter Service at 7 a.m., followed by a potluck breakfast. The children’s Egg Hunt begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a family movie at 9 a.m. and Easter Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.
