Pilon waives in Circuit Court

SUBLETTE COUNTY – Natalie R. Pilon, of Pinedale and now living in Montana, waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Circuit Court on Monday, Nov. 28, which bound over her 2021 felony case to 9th District Court.

Pilon is charged with deliberately causing a serious collision with a truck and logging trailer on Oct. 30, 2021, in which she and the truck driver were life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Charges were filed in April; the preliminary hearing before Judge Curt Haws was rescheduled numerous times with the most recent scheduled for Nov. 29.

During a preliminary hearing for felony charges, the judge determines if there is sufficient evidence to pursue each charge in the higher court.
