Pancakes were flipped onto paper plates and sleek fire trucks cruised
town Saturday morning at American Legion Park, compliments of Sublette County
Unified Fire. The crew served up a free breakfast for the community while kids raced
around in yellow plastic firefighter hats and waited for rides in the big red and black
trucks. The purpose of the community event was to continue educating people of all
ages about fire prevention and safety.
The American Red Cross handed out reminders that “smoke alarms save lives.”
SCUF and Red Cross will install free smoke alarms in Sublette County on Saturday,
Sept. 28, in less than 30 minutes. Residents will also get information on fire evacuation
and communication plans.
