PINEDALE — On Nov. 29, University of Wyoming Extension in Sublette County will host the first annual Green River Ranchers’ Workshop, a series of talks and presentations from UW staff focused on beef production in western Wyoming. The series is directed at beef producers but is open to anyone wanting to learn more. Presenters will include Extension beef specialist Shelby Rosasco, ag economics research scientist Brian Lee and Sublette County Extension educator Dagan Montgomery.
A range of discussion topics include heifer development and reproductive efficiency for Wyoming, nutritional evaluation and planning, and beef market outlooks.
This series is tentatively planned for Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sublette County Extension Office, 9660 Highway 191, Pinedale.
RSVP information and a finalized agenda will be released in the coming weeks. A free lunch will be provided to all that RSVP in advance.
