PINEDALE – On Jan. 24, the Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC) will host a virtual Town Hall meeting to report on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) and related initiatives and public engagement projects.
The CDT Town Hall will highlight recent projects and trail improvements implemented across the states that encompass the CDT in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Projects and priorities range from trail maintenance and events to policy and advocacy, and CDTC collaborates with other organizations, Tribal authorities, agencies, trail users and CDT Gateway communities.
Pinedale is Wyoming’s first Gateway Community.
“The CDT is more than just a trail – it’s a pathway to strengthening connections between community members and leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, land managers and landowners while creating more opportunities for the collaborative stewardship of lands and waters in the Rocky Mountain West,” said CDTC Trail Policy Manager L. Fisher.

“This is an opportunity for the CDT community to come together,” said CDTC Community and Outreach Program Manager Liz Schmit. “It underscores CDTC’s commitment to collaboration, transparency and community engagement as we work together to protect, promote and complete the trail."
