WCF offering scholarships to students

Posted

WYOMING – The Wyoming Community Foundation is allocating over $200,000 in scholarship funds to help students study at colleges, universities and trade schools across the country.

Students can apply for a scholarship until March 1 for all majors across levels of study and institutions. Many of the scholarships support multiple years of study but must be applied for prior to starting college.

Interested students can visit wycf.org/scholarships for a range of resources and more information on how to apply.

Pinedale students, specifically, are eligible to apply for the Hayden Huston Scholarship, which provides awardees with $2,500 per year for four years.

These scholarships are meant for Wyoming students ranging from nursing students to those focused on the arts, aviation and sciences. Along with general scholarships, many scholarships offered are specific to one locality.
