WYOMING – A Pinedale native’s startup innovation is one of six finalists for the University of Wyoming’s Fisher Innovation Launchpad.

Brett Butler was selected for his startup Hawl-It, a business that creates applications allowing independent freight truck drivers to select and manage their jobs. Butler is a current UW business student.

Finalists for the project are UW graduates, students, faculty or entrepreneurs. Teams compete for $125,000 in seed funding. Teams will make their presentations during the Fisher Innovation Launchpad Pitch Day on Nov. 30.
