BIG PINEY — The Sublette County combined boys’ swim team’s first home meet of the season, scheduled for Jan. 12-13 at the Pinedale Aquatic Center, was canceled due to the winter weather that impacted much of Wyoming. The meet was also meant to be a celebration of the senior swimmers, including Andy DeClue, Aurick Lilis, John Ruby and Logan Visser. The seniors will instead be celebrated at 4 p.m., ahead of today’s meet against Lyman, Kemmerer and Jackson at Big Piney High School, 915 Piney Drive.
The team then swims in Pinedale on Friday, Jan. 19, with the meet beginning at 4 p.m. at the Pinedale Aquatic Center, 535 N. Tyler Avenue.
Then, the boys swim team travels to take on Lander on Saturday, Jan. 20.
