The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 154 calls from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, including six agency assists, an animal attack, 12 citizen assists, a search-and-rescue, a structure fire, six suspicious circumstances, three people threatened, 32 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 154 calls from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, including six agency assists, an animal attack, 12 citizen assists, a search-and-rescue, a structure fire, six suspicious circumstances, three people threatened, 32 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections.

Oct. 30

At 6:12 a.m., a caller reported two abandoned vehicles.

At 9:09 a.m., a woman said her husband threatened her.

At 9:32 a.m., a shop window was broken over the weekend.

At 9:38 a.m., a Ford Focus hit a deer.

At 12:09 p.m., a citizen reported a protection order violation.

At 1:38 p.m., a brush fire was reported on Highway 28 east of Farson.

At 1:50 p.m., an auto dealer reported a stolen dealer license plate.

At 3:55 p.m., a man belatedly called in a dog-biting incident.

At 6:03 p.m., a man arrested Friday night needed to get his property.

At 9:33 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

Oct. 31

At 7:47 a.m., a man heard a truck and then a gunshot or explosion, then saw fragments falling from the truck. It was a frozen soda bottle that exploded.

At 9:13 a.m., a person was transported to St. John’s Medical Center.

At 11:57 a.m., a woman called about a cat problem.

At 12:25 p.m., juveniles were involved in harassing wildlife.

At 12:34 p.m., a deputy transported an inmate.

At 3:15 p.m., an officer took on downtown Pinedale’s trick-or-treat detail.

At 4:49 p.m., a person fell and broke a hip.

At 4:55 p.m., Sublette EMS asked for anyone available for coverage.

At 5:40 p.m., a tan and white dog was walking toward Pine Street.

At 6:46 p.m., a heater smelled like leaking gas.

At 7:11 p.m., an ill person was running a high fever.

At 8:03 p.m., a person reported being threatened.

Nov. 1

At 2:26 p.m., a woman said someone doing donuts in front of two houses damaged vehicles and properties.

At 3:46 p.m., wind blew hard enough to set off a burglar alarm.

At 5 p.m., a man said a parked truck and horse trailer were disturbing the flow of traffic.

At 6:27 p.m., a truck hit and injured the deer; the driver wanted to put it down.

At 6:38 p.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol asked a deputy to help a trooper with a traffic stop.

At 7:52 p.m., a man said someone called saying they had a process for him to sign; he hung up unsure if it was real or a scam.

At 9:01 p.m., a neighbor was suspicious of a neighbor’s wide open door. The landlord was going to install a new one.

Nov. 2

At 7:52 a.m., a suspicious man changed his shoes and wiped his steering wheel while getting gas. A deputy didn’t find him.

At 8:32 a.m., a girl who got a phone from Family Dollar accidentally called 911.

At 9:22 a.m., there was a lot of black smoke but no fire at a rig on the Mesa.

At 12:42 p.m., the Big Piney school resource officer looked into a juvenile problem.

At 12:52 p.m., the Pinedale school resource officer initiated a juvenile report.

At 2:12 p.m., a man received threatening messages.

At 3:21 p.m., a vehicle hit a deer.

At 3:33 p.m., a great Dane and black lab blocked a road and charged at a woman’s car.

At 4:09 p.m., the Big Piney school resource officer investigated a threat to the library.

At 4:58 p.m., a juvenile was bullying another.

At 6:07 p.m., a caller reported abnormal behavior at a gas pump; a deputy didn’t find the driver.

At 10:26 p.m., a person almost fainted.

At 10:31 p.m., a bartender said a woman needed a SAFV shelter but not an ambulance.

Nov. 3

At 2:54 a.m., a distress alarm was unfounded.

At 7:29 a.m., a driver said roads were icy at the Hoback Rim and a broken-down semi was blocking a lane. She also reported another accident up Highway 191.

At 7:38 a.m., a deputy was asked to lead a funeral procession.

At 8:26 a.m., Department of Family Services asked for a deputy about a welfare check.

At 11:33 a.m., a deputy picked up a prisoner.

At 1:33 p.m., an ‘80s truck was driving on the wrong side of Fremont Lake Road.

At 5:31 p.m., a silver Ford F150 with a missing headlight was driving crazily up and down the road.

At 7:32 p.m., a family fight with juvenile involvement was reported.

At 10:22 p.m., a person who fell didn’t know what happened.

Nov. 4

At 5:37 a.m., a deputy opened an investigation.

At 9:55 a.m., an arrest warrant was served for Converse County.

At 10:49 a.m., a “cousin” told someone to apply for a federal grant online; she did and paid money and realized it was a scam. After she stopped payment, the “cousin” kept calling and texting.

At 11:14 a.m., a person fell and needed medical help.

At 12:01 p.m., a person asked for a civil standby but the situation was sorted when a deputy arrived.

At 5:10 p.m., a caller said a person in a severe two-vehicle car crash on Highway 353 was not responding.

At 6:28 p.m., two people and a dog in a side-by-side were stuck up to the axle. Tip Top Search and Rescue members found the people and helped them get unstuck and back to the trailhead.

At 6:50 p.m., a black Jeep Cherokee had no rear lights.

At 6:50 p.m., a jail deputy requested a blood draw.

Nov. 5

At 1:40 a.m., a barn was on fire; Sublette County Unified Fire responded.

At 1:49 a.m., a caller reported a truck rolled into a field, taking down power lines. WHP worked the scene and Rocky Mountain Power also responded.

At 8:50 a.m., a bank alarm went off after a power surge.

At 8:51 a.m., a security alarm went off after the power surge.

At 10:16 a.m., a WHP trooper thought a driver leaving the Rim Station might be intoxicated. A deputy didn’t find the truck.

At 12:54 p.m., a man had questions about a crash the day before.

At 1:03 p.m., a deputy took a prisoner to Douglas.

At 4:36 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to stand by for a civil action.

At 4:42 p.m., a white Toyota Tacoma was camped on forest land with trash and beer bottles by the outhouse.

At 5:30 p.m., a person’s foot was swollen, numb and burning.

At 7:03 p.m., a person had breathing problems.

At 8:01 p.m., a power line was sparking; the call was transferred to Rocky Mountain Power.

At 9:31 p.m., two dogs without tags were running loose.
