PINEDALE – Local athletes successfully defended their home turf at the Rendezvous Coed Softball Tournament in Pinedale on Saturday, July 8. Sponsored by the Sublette Softball League at the Dudley Key Sports Complex, the event featured teams from Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, Rock Springs, Evanston and Sublette County.

Crushing one opponent after another, Team Pinedale tallied more wins than any other team in round robin play to secure its first Jackalope Trophy. Team Pinedale consisted of softball players primarily from Sublette County with a few additions from Idaho and Jackson.

Teams battled their way through a full day of games, with the tournament beginning bright and early on Saturday morning and lasting until sundown that evening.
