PINEDALE — Gregory Brickner has been named the new interim Chief Executive Officer for Sublette County Health. Brickner is an experienced healthcare leader with a deep commitment to improving rural healthcare delivery. He has served in CEO, CFO and Chief Business Development Officer roles, working extensively with critical access hospitals and rural health clinics to address financial and operational challenges.
He started his career working for a company that managed skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Brickner notes “This experience gave me a good introduction to healthcare and the continuum of care that exists within the industry.” More recently, Brickner’s leadership has helped guide hospitals through transitions, improve cash flow, and align services with the specific needs of rural communities.
Before arriving in Sublette County, Brickner worked at Hot Springs Health in Thermopolis, Wyoming, where he served as the interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this capacity, he handled financial responsibilities and contributed to the operations of the health organization. With an MBA from Shippensburg University, Brickner has led teams in hospitals of various sizes, focusing on sustainable growth and enhanced patient outcomes. His areas of expertise include cash flow management, zero-based budgeting, and physician recruitment.
