The purpose of the project is bank stabilization along an approximate 600-foot segment of the Green River. This segment of the Green River is designated Class 1 where point source discharges are prohibited except for storm water and construction related discharges. Proposed activities include the excavation and redistribution of 950 cubic yards (CY) of alluvium to construct bankfull benches integrated with toe-wood or brush along with import of 120 CY of boulder to construct rock vanes.
