Winter ordinances took effect Nov. 1

Posted

SUBLETTE COUNTY — The winter ordinances regulating when and where vehicles can park within the towns of Pinedale, Big Piney and Marbleton went into effect on Monday, Nov. 1.
The ordinances are in place to assist snowplows and municipal workers with snow removal efforts throughout the winter months.
Failure to remove vehicles from town streets may result in the issuance of fines or the towing of the offending vehicles at the owner's expense.
Trash cans, toys, campers, parked cars and other possessions should be kept out of the streets to allow for safe movement of snow removal equipment.

Residents are responsible to clean snow and ice from their sidewalks in front of their homes and businesses.
Questions about local ordinances should be directed to the town hall or a Sublette County Sheriff's Office deputy.
