The Big Piney Meet featured senior recognition night.
“Nona Myers, Rachael Essington, Mia Buchanan and Sierra Hattan have dedicated four years to our team and will be missed as they move on to pursue their life goals,” coach Ambr Seemann said. “New to Pinedale, Jacie Friel joined our team this year and has been a great addition to our senior class. These girls are a joy to coach and receive compliments on their kindness and encouraging nature from many outside coaches and officials.”
Coach Kursty Day highlighted several performances over the weekend.
“Our ladies had some great races,” she said. “Morgan had an amazing finish on her 400 free on Thursday night. We are excited to add Mia to the State roster. Mia also took 5 seconds off her 100 butterfly and missed qualifying by 1 second on Thursday. Jacie dropped time in the 100 backstroke (at Jackson) and just missed qualifying time by 1 second.”
