SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette COVID-19 Response Group confirmed just two new cases of COVID-19 over a week span ending on Wednesday afternoon. That’s the total amount of active cases in the county, down significantly from 17 the week before. It is the lowest active case count in Sublette County since August 2020.
Sublette County’s drop reflected elsewhere in the state, which is experiencing a downward slide with 750 active cases as of the release on Wednesday.
The Wyoming Department of Health confirmed 15 additional coronavirus-related deaths earlier in the week, none of which came from Sublette County.
As of Feb. 17, Sublette County’s experienced a total of 669 cases since the pandemic’s beginning with 660 recoveries and seven deaths.
