Spring EXPO is huge success

Posted

With the Spring EXPO moved inside this year and beautiful weather on

Saturday, more people than ever – 500 – rambled through the county ice arena to look at

bear-spray demos, homemade goods, perennial plants, services offered, organic produce

and conservation tips.

Clicking away as each person entered, Sublette County Conservation District Manager

Mike Henn had everyone fill out a raffle ticket and handed out lime green tote bags to fill

with information and gifts from vendors.

Live animals – llamas brought by Mary Pendergast and a golden eagle by Mark Hurd

– brought the kids’ excitement to a pitch as parents and families enjoyed the shade of the

arena, with doors opened wide to catch a breeze.
