The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 215 calls from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, including two deaths, at least 11 collisions, two domestic disputes, a fight in progress, nine livestock problems, five medical emergencies, nine suspicious incidents, two thefts, three checks on people’s welfare, a pollution problem, two unconscious people, 33 urinalyses and 34 vehicle identification numbers inspections.

Sheriff’s report – Oct. 8

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 215 calls from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, including two deaths, at least 11 collisions, two domestic disputes, a fight in progress, nine livestock problems, five medical emergencies, nine suspicious incidents, two thefts, three checks on people’s welfare, a pollution problem, two unconscious people, 33 urinalyses and 34 vehicle identification numbers inspections.

Sept. 27

At 1:49 a.m., a suspicious incident is being investigated.

At 7:46 a.m., a woman hit a moose that ran off.

At 9:01 a.m., a black cow was in Highway 191 in Bondurant.

At 9:15 a.m., a woman called about suspicious activity at her house the night before.

At 9:35 a.m., a Big Piney Rec Center employee said someone hit its sign, a school zone sign and a sign in front of Burney’s.

At 9:37 a.m., a man reported a theft.

At 10:18 a.m., a man wanted to review boundaries after a landowner said he was trespassing but GPS showed he was legal.

At 10:33 a.m., a man had more information about a previous report.

At 12:28 p.m., a white Suburban was driving slowly and swerving up the Marbleton hill.

At 1:35 p.m., a woman reported an assault.

At 2:34 p.m., debris was a traffic hazard on Highway 189.

At 5:13 p.m., a white semi was broken down in the passing lane on the Hoback Rim.

At 6:34 p.m., cattle were on the highway in Bondurant.

At 7:34 p.m., a woman lost personal property.

At 7:41 p.m., a man driving a Ford F150 hit a yearling calf.

At 10:11 p.m., a man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sept. 28

At 5:40 a.m., a driver in a Honda hit and badly injured a moose near Merna.

At 6:01 a.m., a man hit a cow south of Big Piney on Highway 189; it walked away.

At 6:16 a.m., a Mazda hit and killed a deer near Bondurant.

At 6:29 a.m., another driver hit a deer near Bondurant.

At 7:13 a.m., a suspicious person was camped at the Luke Lynch habitat management area, where no overnight camping is allowed.

At 10:44 a.m., a moose calf was caught in a fence.

At 12:38 p.m., a person was having a heart attack.

At 12:57 p.m., the Big Piney district ranger said someone called to complain about noisy “jake brakes” in town.

At 2:58 p.m., a woman asked about her 18-year-old grandson being armed while driving.

At 4:17 p.m., a blue Ford was driving erratically in Hoback Canyon and almost ran someone off the road.

At 4:56 p.m., a caller reported a domestic dispute.

At 5:20 p.m., the drone was deployed to check on the domestic dispute.

At 5:48 p.m., a person was unconscious.

At 6:01 p.m., a medical emergency was called in.

At 8:16 p.m., a man driving a truck hit a bull moose on Highway 189 that needed to be put down.

At 10:45 p.m., people complained about loud music.

Sept. 29

At 4:58 a.m., a caution sign was knocked over and sagebrush torn up.

At 9:03 a.m., a person reported a neighbor died.

At 10:24 a.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.

At 11:17 a.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone.

At 12:03 p.m., a man said a dark blue cattle truck passed him on the right as he slowed for a turn and hit the borrow ditch.

At 12:47 p.m., a man coming to pick up his truck said the woman driving it with permission might not be very happy.

At 1:45 p.m., a dark truck pulling a horse trailer went off the road three times in a mile.

At 1:45 p.m., a person might be having a heart attack.

At 1:52 p.m., a man reported a theft.

At 2:14 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious incident that is being investigated.

At 2:21 p.m., four trucks going at least 85 mph passed a driver.

At 2:47 p.m., a black cow was at a road’s sharp turn; others were behind a fence.

At 3:43 p.m., a controlled substance problem was reported.

At 5 p.m., a caller asked about an 18-year-old hiking with a gun.

At 6:25 p.m., a camper felt he was being bullied after the campground manager told him to leave and a maintenance man complained about trash around his picnic table.

At 6:35 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.

At 8:24 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 11:08 p.m., a woman reported another suspicious incident.

Sept. 30

At 5:42 a.m., a semi pulled off the road but wasn’t safely parked.

At 6:18 a.m., a man hit and killed a cow and needed a wrecker for his truck.

At 7:28 a.m., a buckskin horse was on Highway 191 near Pole Creek.

At 7:47 a.m., a campground manager asked a deputy to help her tell a camper to leave; she tried the night before but he was too intoxicated.

At 8:31 a.m., a small black calf was by the highway.

At 9:37 a.m., a man let a friend use his hunting cabin; the friend said someone trespassed in a red Ford Ranger.

At 9:53 a.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 10:12 a.m., a person fell and needed help.

At 2:23 p.m., the same black calf was still by the highway.

At 3:28 p.m., a silver Dodge was tailgating other drivers.

At 3:40 p.m., a man asked about recovering some property.

At 4:51 p.m., two family members were arguing over water rights and ditches; the man apparently bumped the woman with his track-hoe.

At 5:19 p.m., a 911 call came in about a dark gray Dodge that wasn’t staying in its lane.

At 6:07 p.m., an accidental 911 call came from Fisherman Creek.

At 6:31 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 8:22 p.m., a boy accidentally dialed 911.

At 9:17 p.m., a woman driving a van said a back tire shredded and she needed help.

Oct. 1

At 12:4 a.m., a person was unconscious.

At 10:22 a.m., a person was bleeding.

At 10:48 a.m., a juvenile problem was reported.

At 10:53 a.m., a caller said a fence was burning; SCUF responded and put it out.

At 12:01 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 1:44 p.m., a man called about a stalking protection order.

At 2:18 p.m., a small silver SUV and silver GMC truck were pulled over, the drivers possibly arguing.

At 3:22 p.m., Department of Family Services had questions for an officer.

At 3:50 p.m., a rancher asked for traffic control for a cattle drive across Highway 191.

At 5:09 p.m., a woman’s front tire was smoking.

At 6:09 p.m., a maroon car ran off the road and into a pasture; the driver used a walker.

At 10:46 p.m., a deputy looked into a controlled substance problem.

Oct. 2

At 3:08 a.m., a man was worried about two dogs he saw on the Sweeney Creek trail.

At 6:47 a.m., a domestic dispute was reported.

At 7:40 a.m., a woman was served with a warrant.

At 8:13 a.m., a man’s attorney advised him to keep in touch with law enforcement before retrieving his property.

At 8:38 a.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 9:03 a.m., a semi hit a pronghorn near Warren Bridge.

At 9:15 a.m., a truck rolled off Highway 189; WHP took the call.

At 12:29 p.m., a suspicious call came in.

At 12:43 p.m., three boys, two with bikes and one with a scooter, were sitting on top of old bathrooms in the town park.

At 1:02 p.m., a man would wait for someone to put down an injured pronghorn near Forty Rod Road.

At 3:23 p.m., a woman trying to use voice-activated calling called 911.

At 3:57 p.m., an antelope hunter near Daniel accidentally called 911.

At 4:37 p.m., the father of a family at Sandy Beach was hitting golf balls at boats and into the water; he was cited for littering.

At 5:54 p.m., a gold station wagon was all over the road.

At 5:56 p.m., a caller reported a family dispute.

At 6:03 p.m., two vehicles collided on Front Street in Big Piney.

At 7:57 p.m., juveniles were fighting; they were broken up and went home.

At 8:04 p.m., a mother called after hearing one of her kids was jumping on a roof with others the day before.

At 9:30 p.m., a man wanted to talk about a family dispute.

At 9:41 p.m., a woman was concerned about a man with no shirt walking on the highway.

At 10:24 p.m., a woman said someone just knocked on her front window; she thought kids might be out causing mischief again.

At 10:37 p.m., a man with a bat was outside Ridley’s threatening to hurt kids inside that were pounding on windows.

Oct. 3

At 3:51 a.m., a person was ill.

At 10:41 a.m., a person called about an ongoing investigation.

At 11:48 a.m., kids kept racing their bikes through inner sidewalks of senior housing and could cause an accident.

At 1:09 p.m., Lincoln County dispatch reported a death.

At 1:37 p.m., a downed power line was a hazard.

At 3:16 p.m., a dog stepped on a phone while riding around enjoying fall colors and accidentally called 911.

At 3:40 p.m., an SOS message came in about a hunter with altitude sickness who was brought to where the search-and-rescue helicopter could pick him up and take him to a clinic.

At 7:07 p.m., two girls in a white Subaru were trying to rope deer near Split Diamond.

At 7:20 p.m., a kitchen’s motion alarm went off.

At 8:22 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.

At 8:25 p.m., Sublette EMS reported a white Chevy pickup kept crossing the yellow line.
