The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported more than 194 calls from May 26 to June 4, including 28 citizen assists, two suicidal incidents, a fire, a trespass notice, 14 livestock problems, five vehicle crashes, 39 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections. The SCSO was closed Memorial Day.

Sheriff's report May 26 to June 4

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported more than 194 calls from May 26 to June 4, including 28 citizen assists, two suicidal incidents, a fire, a trespass notice, 14 livestock problems, five vehicle crashes, 39 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections. The SCSO was closed Memorial Day.

May 26

At 5:27 a.m., a deputy helped a person who fell and hurt her leg.

At 8:05 a.m., an aggressive dog bit a man’s leg.

At 11:20 a.m., a man didn’t want to clean up after his dog.

At 12:21 p.m., a white semi was following too closely.

At 2:19 p.m., two vehicles collided near Fisherman Creek; no one was injured.

At 5:14 p.m., a suspicious 911 call was accidental.

At 5:54 p.m., a truck was hauling a boat with a flat tire.

At 5:55 p.m., a pickup truck driver threw a bottle at the car in front and both drivers were erratic. A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper didn’t find them.

At 6:20 p.m., someone damaged a man’s trailer.

At 6:38 p.m., a black trailer parked on the road was a traffic hazard.

At 7:19 p.m., a white truck with furniture in the back speeded around a corner.

At 8:46 p.m., a Toyota Highlander and grey Saab bumped fenders.

At 9:36 p.m., a woman who hit several deer shot one and was too freaked out to call in.

At 10:36 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

May 27

At 1:47 a.m., a girl was fighting in a bar; officers arrived and arrested a person for simple assault.

At 8:14 a.m., a person with stomach pains was vomiting.

At 8:36 a.m., a person was bucked off a horse.

At 11:26 a.m., a man said someone was shooting and bullets were whizzing by him.

At 11:38 a.m., a man asked about his daughter’s custody.

At 12:44 p.m., a man reported a fraudulent Facebook purchase.

At 1:55 p.m., an unconscious cancer patient was transported for a blood transfusion.

At 7:48 p.m., someone landed a drone in a man’s yard and frightened nearby cattle.

At 7:51 p.m., a dead deer was near a walking path.

At 9:24 p.m., a person was arrested for domestic assault.

At 9:29 p.m., a caller ready to call 911 while checking a building accidentally called 911.

At 10:25 p.m., a man heard a gunshot close by.

May 28

At 12:57 a.m., a friendly stray dog was hanging around a motel parking lot.

At 2:31 a.m., a person had breathing problems.

At 2:33 a.m., a motel employee reported a domestic dispute.

At 7:52 a.m., a person was unconscious after possibly falling out of bed.

At 8:57 a.m., a white truck with a topper was losing trash.

At 9:55 a.m., a person had chest, back and abdomen pains.

At 10:33 a.m., a red heeler was running along the highway.

At 10:54 a.m., a person had questions about juvenile custody.

At 10:59 a.m., a white tractor-trailer was tailgating so close the caller couldn’t see the front of the semi.

At 11:07 a.m., a neighbor was shooting a pellet gun at a dog near the property; it’s being investigated.

At 12:52 p.m., a U-Haul truck towing a car on a U-Haul trailer speeded through town.

At 3:05 p.m., an accidental 911 caller didn’t want to say he was fishing near Warren Bridge.

At 3:13 p.m., a man was worried about his girlfriend after they argued.

At 3:47 p.m., cows were very close to the highway.

At 10:28 p.m., OnStar connected a disoriented person who said someone was shot and two daughters were being held hostage. It was unfounded; the person has dementia.

May 29

At 9:50 a.m., deputies escorted the veterans’ riderless horse procession at American Legion Park.

At 10:18 a.m., a couple asked if they could park their camper out front while they worked on it.

At 11:50 a.m., a man reported his friend missing from Utah after he apparently went camping. Deputies did not find his vehicle at trailheads.

At 12:44 p.m., a dead horse was dumped in an old boneyard.

At 3:12 p.m., someone badly vandalized the restroom at American Legion Park.

At 4:48 p.m., a man said his dog was stuck under his house and he couldn’t get to him.

At 5:51 p.m., a deputy assisted a WHP trooper.

At 8:15 p.m., a woman found a puppy under her car, found its owner and took it home to a filthy place.

At 10:22 p.m., a suicidal juvenile was taken to family for care.

At 11:21 p.m., a deputy gave an intoxicated person a ride.

May 30

At 7:14 a.m., a hotel employee gave all the money to a man who said he was the owner.

At 7:38 a.m., a woman found a stray black lab puppy.

At 9:03 a.m., a woman was worried about a man staying at the rodeo grounds.

At 10:45 a.m., a school resource officer met with a juvenile.

At 11:45 a.m., an open 911 call came in with odd illness or animal noises.

At 11:52 a.m., a man said a county truck flipped a rock onto his windshield, shattering it.

At 12:29 p.m., a 911 open call came in with men talking about doors.

At 1:20 p.m., a citizen had questions about a trespass notice.

At 2:57 p.m., a caller asked how to register a motorhome without a VIN or title.

At 3:59 p.m., a school resource officer received juvenile information.

At 4:06 p.m., a GMC’s windshield was vandalized.

At 4:10 p.m., people staying in a camper were disruptive.

At 4:57 p.m., a white semi was tailgating and swerving.

At 5:52 p.m., a couple on BLM land walked past 800-yard targets that someone in a cabin started shooting at them.

May 31

At 6:46 a.m., Marbleton staff reported an animal problem.

At 6:51 a.m., a woman hit a bald eagle on the road.

At 7:35 a.m., someone was moving cattle across to the BLM.

At 9:27 a.m., an inmate went to the clinic for x-rays.

At 10:29 a.m., a man called to get his dogs back.

At 11:27 a.m., trash was flying from the back of a truck.

At 11:34 a.m., the sheriff checked the senior center’s prescription drop box.

At 11:56 a.m., a moose by the highway was in rough shape.

At 2:58 p.m., a small Ford truck was swerving all over.

At 11:06 p.m., three young males were drinking at the 5-mile bridge. They were cited as minors in possession of alcohol.

June 1

At 8:13 a.m., a man returned a cell phone.

At 10:59 a.m., someone found an unhealthy dog belonging to people who were out of town. An animal control officer looked into it.

At 11:18 a.m., a Food Basket employee accidentally sold a customer’s bike; the buyer brought it back.

At 11:34 a.m., an officer was arresting a man for probation violation.

At 11:52 a.m., a man wanted people trespassed from his property.

At 12:08 p.m., a patient needed transportation.

At 2:31 p.m., a young hot-rodding driver rolled a truck.

At 2:42 p.m., a counselor asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 3:50 p.m., a man reported an online Amazon and Microsoft scam.

At 5:10 p.m., a person was threatened with release of uncensored pictures.

At 5:15 p.m., a black Ford F150 kept crossing lanes.

At 5:30 p.m., a family dispute was reported.

At 5:57 p.m., a man was remanded into custody.

At 8:15 p.m., a woman asked to have a dead deer taken out of her pasture.

At 9:18 p.m., a Ford F250 hit and injured an elk.

June 2

At 6:29 a.m., two red cows were loose.

At 9:05 a.m., a vehicle hit a deer on Highway 191.

At 12:44 p.m., school staff reported a juvenile problem.

At 2 p.m., a landlord said evicted renters were finally moving out.

At 2:24 p.m., a woman thought her daughter was missing but she was home the whole time.

At 5:15 p.m., a caller said a lot of trash was blowing out of a garbage truck.

At 9:06 p.m., an injured antelope was struggling by the highway.

June 3

At 3:38 a.m., a deputy helped a person who tried not to fall on the dog.

At 7:33 a.m., a caretaker reported a trespassing vehicle.

At 8:30 a.m., a person was vomiting and having hot and cold flashes.

At 11:49 a.m., a white Nissan pulling a small camper hit a bump and the trailer popped off the hitch; the drive needed help getting it hooked back up.

At 12:42 p.m., a bike theft was reported.

At 6:19 p.m., a person who fell couldn’t stop vomiting.

At 6:26 p.m., WHP asked a deputy to help a trooper.

At 7:07 p.m., a calf was caught in barbed wire.

At 8:25 p.m., a clinic patient needed a ride home.

At 10:32 p.m., someone or a vehicle was knocking over trash cans; an investigation is under way.

June 4

At 7:20 a.m., a white barefoot woman yelling at customers has a medical condition.

At 7:52 a.m., a person was unconscious.

At 9:24 a.m., an active theft investigation started.

At 9:27 a.m., a friendly shepherd mix without tags was running loose.

At 9:37 a.m., a little black Angus calf couldn’t get back in with the herd.

At 10:38 p.m., a Forest Service vehicle was speeding and passing; a deputy didn’t find it.

At 11:29 a.m., a woman found a stray dog.

At 1:20 p.m., a medium brown dog with an orange harness was a problem.

At 1:38 p.m., a neighbor complained about a mother in a father’s house; it was the son home with friends.

At 3:15 p.m., a caller asked if it’s legal to shoot a bow in Pinedale.

At 6:05 p.m., a person was reportedly not breathing; there were problems with medication.

At 7:11 p.m., a person in a gold sedan possibly overdosed.

At 7:21 p.m., a suicidal person was taken to St. John’s.

At 8:02 p.m., an owner’s dog was giving a worker’s dog problems; they were contained.
