The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 206 calls from June 20 to June 26, including a death, a sex offense, at least seven crashes, two fires, seven animal problems, 15 citizen assists, 16 livestock problems, eight suspicious incidents, a suicidal person, five medical emergencies, 27 urinalyses and 42 vehicle identification number inspections.

Sheriff's report – June 26

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 206 calls from June 20 to June 26, including a death, a sex offense, at least seven crashes, two fires, seven animal problems, 15 citizen assists, 16 livestock problems, eight suspicious incidents, a suicidal person, five medical emergencies, 27 urinalyses and 42 vehicle identification number inspections.

June 20

At 12:58 a.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 3:04 a.m., a person had heart problems.

At 6:58 a.m., a white Ford truck tailgated a woman.

At 10:59 a.m., a lone calf was roaming the livestock driveway by Warren Bridge.

At 11:05 a.m., a rancher asked for help moving 350 cattle in Daniel.

At 12:53 p.m., a woman thought her car battery might have exploded.

At 3:09 p.m., a man said his identity was compromised with an unemployment claim.

At 4:37 p.m., a blue truck in the park looked suspicious.

At 4:43 p.m., a juvenile problem was reported.

At 4:47 p.m., a trailer was abandoned at a storage facility.

At 8:09 p.m., a white pit bull and a collie were running loose; the pit bull charged a man.

June 21

At 8:57 a.m., rocks were strewn across Ehman Lane.

At 9:24 a.m., a man called about an investigation.

At 10:25 a.m., a cleaner might have scammed a customer.

At 11:17 a.m., the sheriff went to the treasurer’s office to meetl with an upset citizen.

At 12 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 3:13 p.m., people called about a moose jam on the Pine Creek bridge.

At 5:40 p.m., a stray pug was on Highway 191.

At 9:23 p.m., a black cow and calf were by the road.

June 22

At 6:38 a.m., a black calf was running down Highway 189.

At 8:27 a.m., a landlord started the eviction process.

At 10:37 a.m., a man asked about traffic control signs for a large private event.

At 11:22 a.m., a county dump truck was speeding, ignoring stop signs and using the jake brake in Big Piney. The call was transferred to Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At 12:09 p.m., someone picked up two stray cats and their kittens.

At 1:26 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 2:45 p.m., a driver hit and injured a deer on Highway 353.

At 2:53 p.m., Marbleton staff took two mama cats and eight kittens to Pinedale.

At 4:25 p.m., a brown VW sedan was driving erratically.

At 5:50 p.m., a person was arrested for a bond violation.

At 5:52 p.m., the K9 drug dog made a search.

At 6:13 p.m., a traffic stop turned into a controlled substance problem and arrest.

At 11:36 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.

June 23

At 1:16 a.m., an intoxicated man tried to jump a woman’s fence, startling her dogs that he said tried to attack him.

At 6:30 a.m., a woman backed into a boat and drove away.

At 7:21 a.m., a 1970s Ford pickup went flying through a cattle drive.

At 7:53 a.m., a woman saw smoke from Meadow Lake Road; there wasn’t a fire.

At 8:14 a.m., a school resource officer assisted a citizen.

At 10:59 a.m., a man had questions about a local contractor who did not fulfill an obligation.

At 1:39 p.m., a repair shop reported an abandoned vehicle.

At 2:07 p.m., a man wanted to cut trees that would fall into the road.

At 2:52 p.m., a silver Dodge accidentally sideswiped a white Dodge.

At 2:53 p.m., a fire alarm went off.

At 3:43 p.m., a silver hatchback was swerving all over the road.

At 3:53 p.m., a town employee smelled gas at Dominion Energy.

At 6:09 p.m., a man asked about a protection order.

At 7:16 p.m., a pug was running in and out of traffic.

At 7:33 p.m., a blue Ford followed a silver car that hit it into town.

At 7:43 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 8:48 p.m., a person was arrested on a warrant.

At 9:50 p.m., the employee could still smell gas.

At 9:55 p.m., several callers reported three cows on Paradise Road.

At 11:44 p.m., a burglary alarm went off; it was unfounded.

At 11:46 p.m., a different burglar alarm went off.

At 11:52 p.m., an unfounded burglar alarm went off.

June 24

At 12:09 a.m., a loud engine woke a man up.

At 1:27 a.m., another burglary alarm was unfounded.

At 2:52 a.m., a deputy helped a person who fell.

At 8:09 a.m., a suspicious man with a dog might be sleeping in a town park’s restroom.

At 9:05 a.m., a death was reported.

At 9:14 a.m., a woman was harassed.

At 11:26 a.m., a Happy Endings Animal Rescue volunteer got a strange text about a missing dog; she was advised to not click on any links.

At 12 p.m., a woman was worried about not hearing from her mother; she was in the mountains with no cell service.

At 1 p.m., Department of Family Services reported a sex offense.

At 3:17 p.m., a woman said a contractor was asking people for more money and not finishing jobs.

At 3:32 p.m., a large black cow north of Cliff Creek Road was in open range.

At 4:48 p.m., an “Amazon” call was fraudulent.

At 5:49 p.m., a man reported lost property.

At 6:23 p.m., a woman found a curly-haired terrier dog.

At 10:07 p.m., DFS asked a deputy to help with a urinalysis.

June 25

At 5:11 a.m., a rancher asked for traffic control during a cattle move from Muddy Speedway across the highway.

At 8:59 a.m., cows went through a man’s property.

At 9:13 a.m., a woman tried to call WHP after a passing car chipped her windshield but kept getting disconnected.

At 10:29 a.m., a black Chevy truck hit a deer and didn’t stop.

At 12:12 p.m., people fishing were speeding up and down a dirt road.

At 12:21 p.m., a blue van full of kids was going at least 100 mph and passing unsafely.

At 1:19 p.m., a deputy helped a citizen with a protection order.

At 1:39 p.m., a shiny maroon SUV was passing and going more than 80 mph.

At 2:27 p.m., cows were loose at the gun range.

At 3:17 p.m., St. John’s Hospital reported a family dog bit a child’s face.

At 3:21 p.m., a trespasser was involved in a water issue.

At 3:57 p.m., a male prisoner was transported.

At 4:36 p.m., a very bright spot on a mountainside could be glass or metal like from a car going off the mountain. A deputy found a piece of metal in the dirt.

At 5:11 p.m., a suspicious man went through candy saying there might be recalls; a store employee was worried about what he was doing.

At 6:11 p.m., a person was suicidal.

At 6:22 p.m., a man had information about an investigation.

At 7:30 p.m., a deputy reported an alcohol offense.

At 9:52 p.m., a Lincoln County dispatcher reported an injury.

At 10:08 p.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 11:31 p.m., a white Chevy truck was all over the road.

June 26

At 9:40 a.m., a woman reported catching someone on camera early that morning.

At 9:57 a.m., a brown Ford truck was bouncing all over the highway.

At 10:55 a.m., two dogs were loose above Half Moon Lake.

At 2:06 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 4:17 p.m., a trailer’s hot water heater caught on fire.

At 4:20 p.m., three cars of people and dogs were playing by a dam.

At 8:22 p.m., a camper almost hit two cows and calves by the Boulder bridge.

At 8:36 p.m., a lot of people were next to a car.

At 10:08 p.m., about 10 cows were along the highway.

At 11:03 p.m., a Nissan Altima hit a deer.
