The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 236 calls and incidents from July 12 through July 18, including two assaults, nine suspicious incidents, three thefts, two fire calls, trespassing, vandalism, four welfare checks, 37 vehicle identification number inspections, 27 urinalyses and 24 citizen assists.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 236 calls and incidents from July 12 through July 18, including two assaults, nine suspicious incidents, three thefts, two fire calls, trespassing, vandalism, four welfare checks, 37 vehicle identification number inspections, 27 urinalyses and 24 citizen assists.

July 12

At 7:28 a.m., someone had a campfire at the Granite Hot Springs turnoff.

At 9:18 a.m., Department of Family Services asked for help with a juvenile matter.

At 9:53 a.m., a woman asked if county animal control officer could help her catch a dog that was hit and injured.

At 10:30 a.m., a theft was reported.

At 11:06 a.m., an out-of-state white Toyota was speeding.

At 11:08 a.m., a water truck rolled onto its side.

At 11:40 a.m., a little white car with out-of-state plates that a deputy had just stopped was reported passing unsafely and almost causing a head-on collision.

At 12:25 p.m., a greenish-gray van was weaving all over the road.

At 12:35 p.m., a woman reported scam calls and emails about appointments and insurance claims.

At 1:58 p.m., a person was arrested for an alcohol offense.

At 4:22 p.m., a caller said animals were being treated inhumanely.

At 4:57 p.m., a person was arrested for assault.

At 5:07 p.m., a tree fell on a house and the power line.

At 9:39 p.m., a suspicious black SUV was sitting on the road with no lights, no people and the back lift gate open.

At 10:08 p.m., a hotel employee reported an assault.

At 11:28 p.m., a dark gray Jeep was driving too slowly.

July 13

At 5:55 a.m., a bicyclist was almost hit by a white car at a crosswalk.

At 8:11 a.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 8:23 a.m., a matted and dirty sheepdog was wandering around the town park.

At 8:26 a.m., a semi ran a vehicle off the road by Daniel Junction.

At 9:22 a.m., a neighbor asked what to do about dogs that bark nonstop.

At 10:57 a.m., Sublette County Unified Fire reported an abandoned vehicle.

At 1:29 p.m., a caller was suspicious about a car parked halfway down his driveway by a younger person who got out and left in another vehicle.

At 1:36 p.m., a woman who had never been there received a Pennsylvania toll bill.

At 1:50 p.m., an attorney called for a client to get more information about a criminal trespass order.

At 3:43 p.m., a local fishing guide reported a run-in with a very confrontational out-of-area guide and fisherman.

At 7:08 p.m., a dog bit a person three or four times on the arm.

At 8:03 p.m., a neighbor’s music was loud enough to vibrate the caller’s house.

At 8:37 p.m., traumatic injuries were reported.

At 9:22 p.m., a woman asked for help getting an emergency motel room because she spent all of her money replacing tie rods.

At 11:27 p.m., deputies were asked to be on the lookout for a person.

July 14

At 1:28 a.m., a traffic stop turned into a controlled-substance arrest.

At 7:06 a.m., a building’s front door entry and motion alarms went off.

At 8:45 a.m., a caller provided information about a juvenile matter.

At 10:04 a.m., a citizen asked for assistance with a juvenile matter.

At 11:13 a.m., a traffic stop turned into a controlled-substance problem.

At 11:36 a.m., a deputy helped DFS with a juvenile matter.

At 12:38 p.m., a scam call came in about a “geek squad service.”

At 3:40 p.m., a bond violation was reported.

At 4:01 p.m., a detective requested a search warrant.

At 4:02 p.m., a man said he didn’t think a deputy needed to keep appearing at his house.

At 8:17 p.m., a woman trying to power down her phone called 911; a dispatcher told her the new way to power it down.

July 15

At 12:41 a.m., a deputy assisted a citizen.

At 2:45 a.m., a person was ill.

At 6:51a.m., Sublette EMS reported calves on the road by the Green River Bridge.

At 8:34 a.m., a person found someone’s property.

At 9:46 a.m., a school resource officer opened an incident report.

At 9:59 a.m., a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee hit a deer on Highway 352.

At 10:30 a.m., a county manager passed on a call about an RV dumping “black water” onto a neighbor’s property.

At 10:50 a.m., a person was unconscious or fainted.

At 1:20 p.m., Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation had a warrant for a fugitive from justice.

At 1:39 p.m., people were stranded on a fishing boat when the engine quit.

At 2:11 p.m., a caller asked if a deputy could check on a man beside the road in the middle of nowhere; the man said he didn’t need help – he was thirsty.

At 2:42 p.m., an investigator tried to reach a deputy about a case.

At 3:13 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 3:31 p.m., a prisoner was taken to Farson.

At 3:59 p.m., a speeding truck took a corner too fast.

At 4:11 p.m., an accidental 911 call came from a man’s phone that was in the boat he was towing.

At 4:37 p.m., a burglar alarm went off.

At 5:36 p.m., a caller asked a deputy to help her.

At 6:51 p.m., two strays dogs were loose on Marbleton Hill.

At 8:41 p.m., a caller had information about an active investigation.

At 9:15 p.m., a person was ill.

At 9:17 p.m., a 911 call came from someone trying to shut off her phone.

At 9:33 p.m., a man setting mousetraps accidentally pushed 911 trying to turn down his phone’s volume.

At 9:37 p.m., a bull moose was walking along the fence at Old Brazzill and trying to cross the road.

July 16

At 4:01 a.m., a deputy pulled a crippled deer off the road and killed it.

At 10:02 a.m., traumatic injuries were reported.

At 10:08 a.m., the Idaho Falls Police Department needed more information for a case.

At 12 p.m., a caller found a new town park bench under the Pine Creek bridge; he was told to call the sheriff’s office.

At 12 p.m., a man reported lost property.

At 12:35 p.m., a woman working for a senior service passed on a call from someone who needed help with her TV.

At 12:59 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 1:14 p.m., an RV towing a jeep was swerving all over the road.

At 2:18 p.m., no cow moose was nearby a baby moose beside a fence.

At 3:47 p.m., a fire was reported on Miller Mountain outside the county.

At 4:11 p.m., a service truck possibly hit the side of a post office.

At 4:26 p.m., a black truck passed another driver at an exceedingly fast speed.

At 4:38 p.m., a downed power line was a fire hazard.

At 5:05 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 5:56 p.m., a deputy helped a citizen with a protection order.

At 6:06 p.m., two parked vehicles were blocking a man’s back gate.

At 7:52 p.m., a deputy helped with a protection order.

At 8:59 p.m., a couple of stray dogs were picked up on Green River Lakes Road.

At 9:50 p.m., a campfire was burning by a trailer parked at the New Fork Lake boat dock.

At 10:19 p.m., a person hit and injured a deer.

July 17

At 1:50 a.m., a deputy responded to an assault.

At 9:02 a.m., a medium-sized black bear was stalking hikers on the Pole Creek Trail near Photographers Point.

At 9:06 a.m., a person found someone’s belongings.

At 9:36 a.m., a white truck pulled in front of a driver and when he tried to pass it, it swerved to push him into the other lane and off the road.

At 9:43 a.m., a shorthaired dog with a bark collar was running down Pine Street.

At 10:34 a.m., two vehicles traveling together ran another one off the road.

At 11:05 a.m., a man who hired a moving company from New Jersey had waited three weeks for a van to arrive; when he called the company said the drivers needed another $5,000.

At 11:45 a.m., a green Dodge truck almost had a head-on collision.

At 12:23 p.m., a man found someone’s property.

At 1:05 p.m., a lot of ATVs were speeding in an area where children live.

At 5:07 p.m., a driver whose van was stuck in a ditch on Boulder Lake Road couldn’t reach anyone to tow it.

At 5:58 p.m., a person was unconscious or had fainted.

At 6:02 p.m., a blue Land Rover passed in no-passing zones all the way through Hoback Canyon.

At 6:32 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious Toyota Highlander parked with wallets on the seat and a dog inside.

At 7:28 p.m., a teen on a dirt bike hit an antelope.

At 8:04 p.m., a Glenrock resident got harassing calls from this area.

July 18

At 12:40 a.m., a caller said a vehicle went off a private road and shouldn’t be stuck; he would go check but didn’t want to deal with anyone who might be drinking.

At 6:03 a.m., a parked vehicle was blocking the diesel pumps.

At 8:02 a.m., a caller asked what to do about a cow carcass in a neighbor’s yard.

At 8:44 a.m., a person was unconscious.

At 10:31 a.m., a medical emergency was reported.

At 10:52 a.m., a man with a dark grey SUV had a campfire by Little Soda Lake.

At 12:38 p.m., a dog was left inside a parked yellow Dodge.

At 12:41 p.m., a person trespassed on private property.

At 12:43 p.m., a vehicle had rolled over.

At 1:09 p.m., a theft was reported.

At 1:12 p.m., a black truck with Texas plates was passing and forcing other drivers off the road.

At 1:32 p.m., a black dog running loose was agitating the neighborhood dogs.

At 1:35 p.m., a suspicious incident is under investigation.

At 4:58 p.m., a front door and living room alarms went off.

At 7:32 p.m., people left a black dog in a truck with the windows barely down while at a movie theater.

At 8:54 p.m., the victim of a bank fraud scheme had to file a police report to get his money back.

At 9:39 p.m., an antelope was hit and injured east of Farson.
