July 12

At 11:40 a.m., a little white car with out-of-state plates that a deputy had just stopped was reported passing unsafely and almost causing a head-on collision.

At 12:35 p.m., a woman reported scam calls and emails about appointments and insurance claims.

At 1:58 p.m., a person was arrested for an alcohol offense.

At 4:22 p.m., a caller said animals were being treated inhumanely.

At 4:57 p.m., a person was arrested for assault.

At 9:39 p.m., a suspicious black SUV was sitting on the road with no lights, no people and the back lift gate open.

At 5:55 a.m., a bicyclist was almost hit by a white car at a crosswalk.

At 8:11 a.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.

At 8:26 a.m., a semi ran a vehicle off the road by Daniel Junction.

At 9:22 a.m., a neighbor asked what to do about dogs that bark nonstop.

At 1:29 p.m., a caller was suspicious about a car parked halfway down his driveway by a younger person who got out and left in another vehicle.

At 3:43 p.m., a local fishing guide reported a run-in with a very confrontational out-of-area guide and fisherman.
