The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reported 249 calls and incidents from July 10 through July 16.

July 10

At 1:18 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious circumstance.

At 5:51 a.m., a possible trailer fire was reported.

At 8:44 a.m., a caller complained that a youngster jumped from a can into traffic to look at a moose.

At 9:31 a.m., a driver reported an accident, saying he fell sleep.

At 10:35 a.m., a hit-and-run fender-bender was reported.

At 2:17 p.m., the Forest Service said an RV broke down, blocking travel, and was given a tow-truck number to call.

At 3:37 p.m., a caller reported a white truck playing road-rage games with him.

At 5:32 p.m., a person reported a speeding truck and he had to get off the road to avoid a collision.

At 6:20 p.m., a prisoner was transported.

At 8:17 p.m., a controlled substance problem was reported.

At 8:35 p.m., a caller said her credit card company told her about fraudulent charges.

July 11

At 9:44 a.m., a “daughter wrecked Dad’s truck.”

At 10:09 a.m., a deputy was asked to deliver a message.

At 11:48 a.m., a woman reported getting a gas bill from Georgia, where she has never lived.

At 12:42 p.m., a caller reported flooding problems at several houses.

At 4:23 p.m., an intoxicated person was reported.

At 8:19 p.m., a caller said a dog just killed his chickens and potbelly pig.

July 12

At 4:49 p.m., a deputy helped at the Pinedale Medical Clinic.

At 7:27 p.m., a deputy was asked to check on a man lying between two buildings.

At 8:20 p.m., boaters who ran out of gas two miles from the lodge called search-and-rescue.

July 13

At 11:49 a.m., a judge ordered a person to be booked and released.

At 4:18 p.m., a caller asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 9:10 p.m., a caller reported a cow stuck in a cattleguard with her calf nearby.

July 14

At 12:46 a.m., a controlled substance problem was investigated.

At 5:40 a.m., a caller said cows came into his yard and “trashed” it.

At 7:55 a.m., an employee reported a cow in the parking lot.

At 8:56 a.m., a person who bought a cabin found a box marked “explosives” and asked for a deputy.

At 10:51 a.m., a deputy served a trespass notice.

At 1:59 p.m., a person reported a scam “IRS” call.

At 2:58 p.m., a caller reported fraudulent charges.

At 4:27 p.m., a caller reported extremely erratic driving.

At 4:40 p.m., a caller asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.

At 4:41 p.m., a caller reported being threatened.

At 5:27 p.m., a driver almost forced others off the road.

At 7:17 p.m., a controlled substance problem was investigated.

At 9:26 p.m., the clinic reported someone with a dog bite.

At 11:16 p.m., a white car was reported to have run from officers.

July 15

At 12:25 a.m., a person was arrested for DUI.

At 12:53 a.m., a controlled substance problem was reported.

At 8:46 a.m., a caller said two dead chickens by a road appeared to be shot.

At 3:12 p.m., a caller asked for information about gun laws.

At 5:57 p.m., Game and Fish asked for SCSO assistance.

At 6:04 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle playing games in front of a semi.

At 9:28 p.m., a caller asked for someone to check on a person sitting outside for a long time where mosquitos are really thick.

At 9:33 p.m., two men fighting seemed to be getting fairly serious.

At 10:52 p.m., a bar employee asked for help escorting people out.

July 16

At 11:03 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious person looking into cars.

At 11:16 a.m., a person saw a bull walking up the middle of the highway.

At 6:16 p.m., a controlled substance problem was investigated.

At 8:51 p.m., a controlled substance problem was reported.
